Got my first What-A-Slider today in midnight blue and I absolutely love it I see the hype 🥵🔥small and compact yet holds so much! I’m interested in checking out the small fry now too!
I recently got a Small Fry in multi-cam black. Added snake knot pulls in 95 cord for a cool look in different colors for the two zips. I use mine for a glove pouch on one side (3 pair medical gloves) and in the other my Magnus Toad X fidget toy in titanium. Great little pouch for those extra "essentials". Carried in my messenger bag.
I've been carrying the small fry since I got it, great for quick outings and trips to the grocery store. Can't wait for the GAW amazing sponsors so far ✊✊
I have my eye on a small fry but I'm not quite sure what I would use it for. I try to go with nothing in my pockets when I can help it so as long as I can clip it somewhere I'm good.
I really enjoy looking at peoples patch set ups but i don't like em. They make the pouch thicker and it just sticks to your pants when you're trying to get your pouch out ! Speaking about pants, i bought a What-a-Slider Mojave back they first came out with the old logo. Quality is excellent but i sold it cause i never carried it cause it's way too bulky which defies the purpose of being a pocket organiser. It carries less than my GBGs too so yeah, wasn't for me. I think the Tchotchke is better than the small fry too tho. Don't have them both to compare tho. Just a feeling.
No shade to data crew or the people that buy their products, i think everything they make looks amazing, but I just can't logically sit around waiting to buy something when there's other extremely high quality and IMO better products that are almost always immediately available, like the ones made by Alpaka gear. The hub pouch pro which is an actual pocketable pocket organizer is absolutely amazing. The zip pouch pro with quick access pockets plus a zip pouch is leagues better than the small fry. I guess everyone just wants to ride the hype train.
looks like a glorified change purse, just trying to wrap my head around these micro "EDC" pouches and 1" flashlights... 😂To each his own but just don't seem comfortable or practical for any kind of rapid deployment... I guess if you want something to put chapstick, nail clippers and a tiny useless knife in they are cool...? 🤣You can make a "cool" lanyard! and get super cool patches!😆
