    1970 Triumph Tiger - I hesitated, but bought the Wassell a couple of years ago. Price was the big consideration for me. Unless you're nitpicking, you would never know it's not the stock carb. The Wassell has been perfect, I'm very pleased.

    Thanks for this video. I've been thinking about replacing the JRC carb on my '67 Thunderbolt with something closer to original.

    What size jet is factory? What would be larger?

    I'm not sure I like the finish on the Wassell carb... it looks like it's been painted with primer. Maybe it looks better in person. They seem like a good deal (price-wise) compared to the Amal. It would have been nice if you had taken it apart an showed us the inside components as well.

      They soon lose that dull finish, and the finish is supposed to give more resistance to ethanol blends, although I wouldn't put E85 in it. Mine has proved faultless in the 12.000 miles since I fitted it and run it on E10 in my 1955 ariel single.
