The 2024 Cape 31 European Championship - Reportage

The 2024 Cape 31 Europeans delivered high-octane racing and intense competition, culminating in an unforgettable event that showcased the best talent from across the continent. Hosted by our YC, with Race Officer Fulvio Parodi at the helm, the regatta was a resounding success.
Over four days, the sailors faced a full spectrum of conditions, testing their skills to the limit. The fleet enjoyed two days of exhilarating 15-20 knot breezes with big swells, a day of tactical racing in 10-15 knots, and a final day of very light winds. Despite the challenging conditions on the last day, the race committee managed to squeeze in one light wind race, ensuring the teams were tested across the entire wind range.
As well as awesome racing and magic conditions the sailors also enjoyed Pasta Parties, Wine tasting with Fratelli Aimasso and an amazing gala dinner at Victory Morgana Restaurant
