Some of the footage it with my kids so if you see any spinning on the spot, throwing paint, chasing the raccoon… you know what went down. That racoon is going down! Have you played this one before? Very fun game worth it on this big discount as well. Mark and Glen
The ability to turn the timer off makes this a game for me. Overcooked was just too stressful and too hard for the non-gamer family members of mine. But being able to play through levels with no timer actually sounds quite cathartic! Great review
I've started recently playing with my 7 year old daughter to the Switch. We have 3 "multiplayer games": Mario Kart, Brain Academy, and Mario Party Superstars. Y played the first Mario Party on the N64 and this version is really fun, truly.
Nothing to add, just enjoying watching while the All Patched Up playlist plays in the background. Glad you've been having fun over the holidays with these and other games. Cheers gents!
And can I just say thank you to both of you guys, to just sticking to what you do! There's so much hype online/TH-cam regarding the switch 2 rumour mill and what can possibly be but nothing is confirmed and it's kinda jarring tbh 😅 I'm sure you guys will come with the news when it's a bit more concrete. Also love playing Cup head with my two little boys as our party game! Can be very frustrating at times and have to watch the p's & q*S around the kids 😂
Oh man I love these games! I don’t have many myself but whenever I hang out with friends who have ones the wacky party games like “Overcooked”, “Moving Out” I’ve had just a blast and “Tools Up” seems to be right up that ally. Glad to see it’s getting updates and some support from the developer.
Tools up looks great, but my favorite “cooperative chaos” game is Unrailed. I love how more experienced players can help carry newer players but everyone still contributes. Also solo-able, but it’s harder to do things one at a time since the train needs a variety of things to keep running.
Another game I would recommend on the Switch if you are into JRPG's I just got for $20 called" Chained Echoes." One of the best JRPG's I have played in a long time.
@@SiobhanR28 Same here. Never played Sea of Stars so that will be my next purchase. Yet for $20 its amazing how just one person developed this masterpiece all by himself. Most devs these days should take notes from this guy.
Boys I’ve just bought this! I was watching your video minding my own business then the oldest lassy walks in and says “this looks fun”. I used my gold points and had a few quid left over in my account. We have done the first 3 levels and she’s already had a rollicking for not stripping the wallpaper. Then there was murders on when I spilled the paint on the carpet she laid. Good crack what a hoot! Cheers for highlighting this.
Had a ton of fun with Stikbold as a party game the other day. The overcooked style of party game stresses me out with the timer too, but had a hilarious time with Moving Out
Thank you for the video! I played a demo of this a few years ago on PC and I remember enjoying it. I just got a Switch recently and this would be a great thing to buy, especially with the discount. When I get together with my adult kids, we usually play Overcooked. It will be nice to try a different game.
This is the type of game that I play for a short period of time per day. I finish a house and continue it later. Probably because I don't have anyone to play with, just like Mario Kart. The switch online could partly solve that problem. Partly, because it's more fun if you know the person whom you play with.
This is a great game to play with a friend, picked this up previously on your recommendation but haven’t tried the DLC. Time to boot it back up for some gardening!
Shame that the 100% save file from base game didn’t transfer over to this version to continue with dlc and new things - it’s listed as a separate game (Tools up! vs Tools up! Ultimate edition). Time to start again I guess!
Looks like a fun game to play with my kids. I don't play many party games because most aren't interesting enough to hold my attention for long. This looks like it has some longevity
I'd probably turn off the timer. That really looks fun imo. This year I've started it off by playing my Neo Geo mini arcade. I went whole hog buying too many switch games, so i needed to put it down for now.
It's a cool looking game, seems like it would be just the right kind of fun chaos for multiplayer! I don't really have anyone else to play switch games with unfortunately, and I don't have NSO, so I stick to single-player games.
Looks cool, actually my wife loves playing games like this with me, haha with the holiday sales I grabbed Overcooked 1&2 and we've been having a blast with those
Over Christmas me and my partner played boomerang-fo, vampire hunters and the lego harry Potter collection (odd mix I know). This looks like hilarious fun but I've spent too much on the eshop lately. Always up for a freebie though fellas! 😬
With four players we played the most time Overcooked, Mario Cart and Mario Party. WIth more players we newly played Everybody 1 2 Switch and had fun the whole evening 🙂 I like to play for three stars in Overcooked with my wife and looking for something like Tools Up. I hope we get some time and the game to play it next time.
I always want to play these kinds of games...they look like complete choas!! But multiplayer is a hard sell since I would have to buy multiple copies. Ahhh...this one has a solo option?! Neat Fav party games? Mario Party 2 and Stick Fight!!
It’s a good game this. One that I can play with my non-gamer partner, and she is actually pretty good at it. Tried overcooked and that is far too stressful for her!
Great vid, I’d never heard of this and loved Moving Out/Overcooked so this looks right up my street! Would love to win a copy, see what stress this causes me and my housemate 😂 My favourite Party game of all time has to be Mario Party 3, series peaked there and I’ve always thought the N64 ones were best, nice we get it with the Online service!
Hidden gem?! This wasn't hidden you put a video of it right at my fingertips! You should probably change this misleading title 😉 Obviously kidding, you guys rock.
Haha! Cuute! Other half may well be able to play this one. He's not hugely dexterous and this might be chill enough but with enough to keep him motivated. Odd choice for a party game but I consider Minecraft one. In our household anyway, as he makes suggestions and I do as I'm told lol. I tell you, trying to make a cruise ship has been... well, disastrous lol More like a big triangle in the water.....
I can't play this gane as it would just remind me of all the things that I still havent finished in my old cottage. I'd feel crippling guilt spending the time fixing stuff in the gane as opposed to real life diy 😆
Some of the footage it with my kids so if you see any spinning on the spot, throwing paint, chasing the raccoon… you know what went down. That racoon is going down! Have you played this one before? Very fun game worth it on this big discount as well. Mark and Glen

I’m sure I could find a way to turn this one into a drinking game 😂
A shot everytime you see the racoon 🤣🤣
Tools up looks great, but my favorite “cooperative chaos” game is Unrailed. I love how more experienced players can help carry newer players but everyone still contributes. Also solo-able, but it’s harder to do things one at a time since the train needs a variety of things to keep running.
Lovely video but why did you include a totally random AI generated image of a totally unrelated raccon instead of having an actual image of the game?
Being able to turn the clock off sounds like a great idea. The time pressure was the main reason my partner couldn’t play Overcooked with me.
I have the standard version, great game. Almost the only one my wife willing to play with in coop 😄
Another game I would recommend on the Switch if you are into JRPG's I just got for $20 called" Chained Echoes." One of the best JRPG's I have played in a long time.
It's soooooo good. Enjoyed it more than Sea of Stars
@@SiobhanR28 Same here. Never played Sea of Stars so that will be my next purchase. Yet for $20 its amazing how just one person developed this masterpiece all by himself. Most devs these days should take notes from this guy.
Looks like another great friendship building (ruining) moment just like Overcooked.
Been looking at picking this up, just havent done it yet. Have several couch coop games already. This wiuld just give more of a selection.
This one looks like my family would end up in a full on brawl! Just made up after the Great Overcooked fall out.

This looks fun. Will have to give it a go this weekend with the family. Always love the Switch Up content, thanks lads.
Where was this game when I was 14 and on summer break..😅..looks addicting
I'm always on the lookout for games like this so my kid cousins have something to play when they visit during the weekends. Thanks for sharing.
Snipper Clips is the best party game for finding out who you can’t work with.
Yes, hopefully Tools Up can be my new Overcooked. That game is never 'well done' enough 😁, but I would love to have a new favorite party game.
Oh dear! well there goes world peace at least when it comes to our house we’re a super competitive family lol
This looks like a really nice co-op game that’s relatively cheap. Good for this time of year
Thank you for the video! I played a demo of this a few years ago on PC and I remember enjoying it. I just got a Switch recently and this would be a great thing to buy, especially with the discount. Cute looking game that could potentialy lead to friendship-ruining arguments...
Isn't that what Christmas is all about?
Hahaha that was quite poetic! Mark
This game truly feel cozy if there's no timer.. You're right..
This is a great game to play with a friend, picked this up previously on your recommendation but haven’t tried the DLC. Time to boot it back up for some gardening!
This is giving me flashbacks of playing Overcooked with my kids. Still trying to figure out if it was fun or frustrating 😅
Finally a game to sooth my wife's compulsion to tidy and decorate, may finally get her back into gaming.
Shame that the 100% save file from base game didn’t transfer over to this version to continue with dlc and new things - it’s listed as a separate game (Tools up! vs Tools up! Ultimate edition). Time to start again I guess!
Might have to get this. I've been meaning to get more party games to play with the nephews.
Looks like a fun game to play with my kids. I don't play many party games because most aren't interesting enough to hold my attention for long. This looks like it has some longevity
Yeah it’s really good and super cheap at the minute! Mark
Looks like a great alternative to overcooked, which I enjoyed. I love how this has chill options like removing the timer though
I don’t know if redemption reaper is a hidden gem, but I got it as a gift for Christmas and I’m enjoying it despite the difficulty 😅
I'd probably turn off the timer. That really looks fun imo. This year I've started it off by playing my Neo Geo mini arcade. I went whole hog buying too many switch games, so i needed to put it down for now.
It looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for bringing another great video!
Perfect game for myself and my partner to try after we’ve just finished unravel, and we love overcooked! Another for the collection would be awesome 🤩
This looks super fun. Me and my girl play overcooked and it gets serious 😂
I havent watched the video yet, but from the thumbnail alone i want this game
It's a cool looking game, seems like it would be just the right kind of fun chaos for multiplayer! I don't really have anyone else to play switch games with unfortunately, and I don't have NSO, so I stick to single-player games.
Looks cool, actually my wife loves playing games like this with me, haha with the holiday sales I grabbed Overcooked 1&2 and we've been having a blast with those
I think my favorite party game is definitely overcooked this looks like it would be the same kind of fun
Rubber bandits is great and 4 player is couch co-op madness. Keep up the good work guys!
Over Christmas me and my partner played boomerang-fo, vampire hunters and the lego harry Potter collection (odd mix I know). This looks like hilarious fun but I've spent too much on the eshop lately. Always up for a freebie though fellas! 😬
Not really my style of game but I still love watching your videos
You had me at "turn the time off". They had me at 80%... BARGAIN!!! I picked it up for $10!!!
Looks fun with kids but my kids couldn't handle the intensity haha
This game looks super fun to play with your kids!
With four players we played the most time Overcooked, Mario Cart and Mario Party. WIth more players we newly played Everybody 1 2 Switch and had fun the whole evening 🙂

Sounds like a great game, I'd love a copy. Not sure about the racoon though
Always to see parents playing with kids
This looks like a really fun game!! Untold have some real hidden gems, thanks for shining the spotlight
I prefer Moving Out to Overcooked but, both are fun and frantic at times.
Used to follow another Nintendo channel. But you guys just do it better. This game looks so much fun!
At least the raccon is washing things they hold right?
My wife and I have been playing it from times to times for the past few months, that's a lot of fun :) be ready to have a few small arguments 😁
got the main content but never got around to getting the dlc. always wanted to try it, but it always just slipped my mind.
Okay tbh usually the sponsored games are a little 🥴😅 but this one looks genuinely fun
Tools Up is great fun and gets plenty of screen time with my kids, as does Snipperclips and Untitled Goose Game
Tools uplooks great. If I don't win a copy I may have to just buy it!
Looks like it's got some over cooked vibes. Looks fun
Can't go wrong with a game that brings the kids along with ya mate 🎉😂
Seems like a fun game toplay with family and friends. A similar game that I play a lot with friends is PlateUp.
My kid laughed so hard at this game when we played it
These games are great, but they do get frantic. A lot of internal thoughts about your teammates 😂.
This looks like a really fun game! Might think about picking this one up! 😁
This does look like it has an overcooked vibe. Defo one for my 6 year old to join me on
I always want to play these kinds of games...they look like complete choas!!
But multiplayer is a hard sell since I would have to buy multiple copies.
Ahhh...this one has a solo option?!
Neat
Fav party games? Mario Party 2 and Stick Fight!!
It’s a good game this. One that I can play with my non-gamer partner, and she is actually pretty good at it.
Tried overcooked and that is far too stressful for her!
Reminds me of Movin' Out
Looks like an awesome game!! I’m always down for a freebie haha
Do you guys ever take a break? Burnout is real. Wait, Burnout's on the Switch!!🤣😂
Haha when we’re recording together it’s way way way easier :)
@@SwitchUpYt Cool haha, if commitment means success, you pair deserve all the success! 🎮
Wish my friends were into these kinds of games :(
I love this type of game I play them with my dad
Great vid, I’d never heard of this and loved Moving Out/Overcooked so this looks right up my street!
Would love to win a copy, see what stress this causes me and my housemate 😂
My favourite Party game of all time has to be Mario Party 3, series peaked there and I’ve always thought the N64 ones were best, nice we get it with the Online service!
I would love to win a US copy. Super Bomberman 2 still stands tall
This looks awesome with friends.... *Anyone need a friend?* 😅😅
I remember looking a review for this game and it wasn't that great so I avoided the game maybe I can give it a try with the new update.
Alright! Let's see what we have here 👀

Im a huge fan - keep it coming !!!!!
Not the AI thumbnail 😂
It looks so fun
I got three stars on every level of this game. I can't be trusted to play this or Overcooked with other humans though. 😂
I can't play this gane as it would just remind me of all the things that I still havent finished in my old cottage. I'd feel crippling guilt spending the time fixing stuff in the gane as opposed to real life diy 😆
Looks great ❤
My favorite party game is gang beasts. I would love to win a copy of this looks fun!
Divorce enducing fun.
Meh it's clearly not for me especially since I hate playing games with other people
