Time for another plant unboxing video

Apparently I love to buy plants the moment heat packs are needed and shipping costs double.

Hi Francesca, quick question. In your video you say you are using Safers end all insecticidal soap, but your container was just the insecticidal soap. Is there a difference?

Hi! Sorry for any confusion! I actually use both, I used the insecticidal soap for all new plants, but any that give me strong concerns I use end-all. Insecticidal soap is good for wiping away any eggs or pests that you may not have seen or that may have transferred, but it's not so good for a clear infestation (in my opinion). The end-all is a much stronger product and while it's called 'end all', I really find it's an especially great miticide (flat mites or spider mites in particular).
In this case, I just used my normal insecticidal soap!

Hi Francesca 💫 So exciting you were able to pick out your plants!!! I love that as well. Quick question. I have an Anthurium Bakeri and Pallidaflorum and both act as if they are going to start a new leaf but it dries up and crisps away. Do you have any suggestions? I have both of them in Pon and have placed moss around the tops (should I remove this?) I’ve seen people do both ways. I just want a new leaf to actually come in. They don’t get a ton of light from the top, could this be a factor as well? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I hope your new babies grow full and healthy for you. Enjoy the rest of your week. 🙏🏻💫

Hi! Interesting, I do the same with pon top dressed with moss and that has worked well from me - are they drying out at all? If mine dry out they can lose the leaf. If they have good moisture I'd check on the roots and yes maybe give more light - good luck!
