Not many pay attention to what NT says on prayer. Focus on verse 12 but the preceding verses give context. All of this teaches us how to be heard by God. 1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; 9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. 11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. 👉12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And HIS EARS are OPEN to THEIR PRAYERS; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”👈 Isaiah 59: 1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 👉2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;👈 And your sins have hidden His face from you, 👉So that He will not hear.👈 James 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Bad news pal, most of that is pure and utter bullshit. The world has turned to shit and God and the Lord have sat by and watched and DONE NOTHING. It's the end times, but there's no restoration. It's the end times, but He doesn't pour out His Spirit. Even those baptised and avoiding churches can't be bothered to keep His laws. Time to face reality, God just isn't there any more, He left a long long time ago. Will the Lord act? Can he act? Who knows. I think we will all be surprised at the real situation, assuming we ever find out.
