I just love how Audiotricz still use their usual Hardstyle kicks, instead using more Raw-infused kicks like many Hardstyle producers nowadays. They still stick with how they crafted their melodies beautifully, and all of the sudden, we have this beautiful song . It's not about how hard the kicks, it's always how the track resonate with us

the mixing is quite bad on this one.. the high frequencies of the kick don't cut through at all.. also there's wayyy to much ott/compression on the piano.. in general the whole track sounds a bit "uncontrolled" other than that (don't get me wrong) - I'm so happy that there are more and more hardstyle producer that are focused on the melodic side of euphoric hardstyle!
maybe he's referencing it to Progressive House, A house genre. Most of Progressive House musics are like so euphoric and has cheesy, major-like feeling to it. That's why he used Progressive. Maybe Ecstatic or Audiotricz are just too stupid to not use Euphoric instead of Progressive. Search up Euphoric Hardstyle and you'll get a ton of results sounding like this. Cheesy melodies. BUT. If you search up Progressive Hardstyle, You'll only get songs and releases from Ecstatic or Audiotricz. But at the end of the day, It still sounds like what we call "Hardstyle".
