It's hard to believe three random guys met in highschool, didn't like each other at first and basically became one of the most important artists in electronic music history. What blows me away even more is how they came up with such a distinct sound and how they became so proficient with their software and instruments. I mean they have been called the producers producer. Hard to believe they were just three guys in highschool.
@@ewg1 Honestly. I thought they were engineers that worked with major software companies or synth companies. They seem like programers that somehow got into music. But turns out, they were just really curious nerdy guys who love how to create awesome sounds. Maybe it's the education system in the Netherlands, idk.
Im amazed by the gap razer videos present. On one hand you have Noisia boys who know a shit ton about making music and on the other you have Carnage who has no clue what does VOL knob stand for LOLOLOLOLOLOL
@@str8todamoney i wouldnt say that criticizing is foolish. Judgement has to stay away but there is definately something to be said about the absolute craftsmanship of sound by people like in noisia, alon mor, shpongle etc compared to people who make more "crude" music. You can make musical judgements of that but you shouldnt go judging the people who enjoy it differently
It's really cool to find out that a group as big as Noisia, aren't too pretentious or anything, to use free plugins like 'Tesslapro mkII' & 'ThrillseekerXTC blue'. I am going to see these guys next month. Ever since their first CD, I really admire how clean and great their sound is. So polished and their basses are so clean, deep and fat.
I'm so happy they are going to be doing more videos, ever since their first masterclass with Futuremusic I've been hooked, can't wait to see how they use all this stuff in their productions!
Thanks Nik, Martijn, and Thijs for showing us where you guys bake up your tasty, crunchy, siper-sonic bangers and mash that we NOISIA fans love so much. Tentacles Pie anyome?
hey I love your guys content and all your products I've never got my hands on razor products but a couple of my friends do and the looks quality and its just really cool. keep it up!
LOOOL that moment when the leading gaming gear branch worldwide, makes a vid in a small about a place in a city in a country as small as the netherlands, and ofcourse i happened to live in this city lol
I feel like you can tell in this video that they were slowly coming to an end, it‘s not as enthusiastic and energetic as their earlier vibe, they almost seem tired.. it‘s interesting I think, they have got everything a producer could ever wish for, it‘s like the literal dream setup one could imagine, but somehow they don‘t seem like they’re comfortable!
That is interesting to think about. Like a couple who just bought their dream mansion and a year later they are divorced. Maybe they would have benefited from learning to play the instruments live like a band such as pendulum. This would have kept it more fresh and interesting possibly. I think they got bored in their process and im sure different musical agendas developed about what they should sound like. Because it did go from a neurofunk genre to kind of a experimental sounds.
@@matthewchavezm.b.s5503 Yeah exactly! I mean I also totally get that after 15 years of high energy, rather aggressive sounding music, at some point one simply kinda has had enough
Who knows, maybe they had more fun doing it in their bedroom without paying all this ridiculous money for studios and all the other nonsense they comes in once you start to get recognized as an artist and have money. I mean, after they got this top of the line studio, did their music and sound design all the sudden become a level above what they did years ago? I dont think so, I think what they going in 2005 with the bad taste lp with meditation, block control, choke, and those kinda tracks are amazing.
@@matthewchavezm.b.s5503 Definitely did from an objective mixdown standpoint. A lot of the Outer Edges album was fine tuned through these booths and it holds up a lot more than split the atom. Not that I don't love split the atom, I've been a fan since 2007/2008, but that album was one of the most intricately crafted experiences that pushed the scene forward in 2016
@@BVSSIC Its almost like there evolution of sound design went backwards compared to most artist. There early work was so intricate and ahead of its time that there later work sounded more like what artist start out sounding like, just more basic and less cutting edge in my opinion. It was still good sound design and quality but the sound def changed feeling and groove. Some artist I like to follow there musical journey and im more in tune with it even if the sound changes a lot but I kinda fell off the noisia bandwagon toward the end. But these guys will always be known to have led the way back in the early 2000's. And even all of their current more experimental music, I know thats helped spark creative ideas for others and thats what its all about.
Anyone notice that since the guys moved to this studio their music changed to become super hi-fidelity and tight but also cold and less harmonically pleasing? Less melody and feel, more... Even tighter breaks and HiFi rippy FM basslines... (this could be totally inaccurate but to my ears it's an obvious trend in Noisia releases over the past few years). I guess the point I'm making is Noisia's studio looks cold and sterile and their music reflects this. I love their music FYI, I like cold and sterile.
Raymund G its pretty much from blade pro to a maingear razer edition nzxt box hence, just do some digging and considering they require a lot of juice, it would be pretty much decked out
could be anything, since this is a promo vid they show the razor stuff but you can build your own pc easily, all you need is good cpu and some ram "basically". no need for buying any expensive branded stuff like razor or apple ;)
Raymund G they don't use razors they've done studio tours before never have they've shown it. This is just a paid promo. Plus I've seen noisia live 3 months ago I did not see a razer logo on their laptop.
Funny how Razer is sponsored with FL Studio, but here Noisia come and say they use Ableton, lol. Otherwise, absolutely amazing video. I definitely learned the most from both this video and Varien's video (Varien is my god).
Haha never thought i would live so close to these guys and i never knew they were dutch. Though i have see them play in Paradigm at the Helsinkistraat fucking genius. Noisia you guys are super! Greetings to Paul Grimmius and could you please check out my music from a real grunninger Marwin Smith.
Dear Razer, get a better camera, please, and some people who know about lights on a set. That would be awesome. This lowlight performance is for something amateurish, not for the promotional material about top-of-the-foodchain people. Also, the operator's struggle to focus on an open aperture hurts your eyes, too - at least for me.
First tutorial coming soon!
Why isn't your account verified?
Please tell me the name of the song at 2:00... Love the vibe!
Or at least let me know if it is a future release?
@astrokid thanks, I did find it but if anyone else watches this video and wants to know, your comment will help them out 😁
this was super cool, what an amazing studio y'all have
