Back in the day, a pioneer of early daytime television, Ruth Lyons, always had her microphone hidden in a small bundle of flowers. She said she hated the way the big gray mic looked. lol
Oh I just made that comment myself! lol. Every Thanksgiving, WLWT airs a special about Ruth Lyons following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She was definitely a character!
I wonder what it would've been like if Charles had been in the first seat and Brett in the second. It would've given him a chance a shine without Brett stepping on his lines so much. What's everyone think?

Aww, Ginny was a nurse! I worked in medical for 20 years, and I also thought of "cap," it's a perfectly reasonable answer. But it's not funny. And yet Joyce said it! She was the only one who matched. I owe you an apology, Joyce.

LOL 12:35 "You've betrayed me Ginny, I'm finished with you" Brett is hilarious!

Ruth Lions from the Ruth Lions 50/50 Club program always had a bouquet with a microphone in it. That's a little Cincinnati area trivia.

Oh, I'm so happy for her! And her boyfriend looks just like Hark Hammil, but this was two years before Star Wars! I wonder if he auditioned?
Mark, I meant. Sorry, Mark.
When Charles takes full part, it really makes the game better. He had been too reticent recently.
Brett talked over him a lot.

Amazing that the celebrities are absolutely clueless about popular music of the time!
Right, and I am the same way re: rap music.

'75 was the best! 😂
These celebrities knew nothing about rock music....Edgar Winter.....really?
Edgar Winter did instrumental rock song FRANKENSTEIN. It is a great loud song.
Thanks Bro :)
Richard stuffing his carnation in his shirt made me think of Arte Johnson on Laugh-In going "Very Interesting" as Wolfgang.
Dawson is such a phony ass.
No matter how many times I come back to this, it makes me LOL. Too many funny spots to time stamp, the whole episode is hilarious.
Poor Edgar Rice Burroughs got no respect, despite the number of Tarzan questions on the show. Tsk.
I like that Lana Wood. She seems so down to earth. 🌻

@@wmkyle1 that's interesting. And I've always liked Natalie Wood. I've been told I resemble her, haha.
Funny show!
Can’t believe Joyce Bulifant actually matched
Ginny didn't seem to have a good time 😝
$5,000 then = $27,959 today. No wonder she could quit her job!

Nurses are grossly underpaid. She was hoping to win enough money to put gas in her car to get her home.
I jokingly said "Winter", kind of shocked it made it up there

How I wish the celebrities would have quit playing for laughs and played for a match to win money for the contestants! 😒
Edgar AllEn Poe? gosh...
At least they knew who he was.

Once again Gene had to quiet Brett. Sad, it's like having a loud narcissistic 2 year old on the panel.

@dorothyjohnson3728 your ANNOYING. All the complaints about Brett. She keeps things alive, & moving along.😅😅😅
Joyce was first choice for Carol Brady
. . . and married five times.
Glad they didn't use her,I wouldn't have watched
Why didn't she take it?
Nor anyone else
I'm nearly 60, and I've never heard of Edgar Winter either.
🎶Smoke on the water🎶 or 🎶Come on and take a free ride🎶
He did the song Frankenstein, not Smoke on the Water
WTF ?
@gerry u He sometimes plays with Ringo Starr's Allstar Band.
@@maryspencer4975 I went to see them two years ago!

Joyce and Avery should not have been invited back to the show. Neither of them knows how to play the game.
