The display ratio has also changed, we have here a 21:9 for the Cubot that makes it really thin versus a very different width for the Huawei... The 5 certainly replaces the base range Cubot Max 2 and 3 well, but the Huawei monster stay higher and higher..! Thanks for the exclusive video, I'll probably try it
One of my good friends still, to this day, July 19th 2024, swears by the Mate 20X. I just shared this video with him, because I think he'd agree & will probably jump on getting this, as a replacement to the Mate 20X. I already got mine ordered! As far as design, I think it's modern 2024, given its IPS panel, it otherwise looks like the RedMagic 9/9S Pro, which I think is awesome. Great video Frankie!
If only nubia red magic release a 7.2 or 8 inch bezel less phone... 7k mah or higher, one or two cooling fans, metal back. Would really be a dream come true
I just wish they would come out with the phone that has closer to 16:9 aspect ratio that way when you try to watch a movie you don't have big black bars on the sides.
Why do these companies lie in their promotional images? Their photos show very thin bezels especially the bottom one and in the video clearly has thicker bezels.

Sadly the screen is BAD...and you video proves it. With an OLED screen it would have been great. Missed opportunity for Cubot. Better a POCO with OLED screen an similar price and performance.
Hmm... I think the device could be smaller with AMOLED and better bezels. At this point for a large screen gaming phone the Redmagic 9S Pro seems the better choice. Not for your wallet but for your fun.
Not large enough! It's the same size as a Samsung Note 20 Ultra and much smaller than Mate 20x. I would have liked for you to do a more in depth video on the Vivo X Note, in my opinion it's the only viable option for replacing a Mate 20x (I wrote this from my Mate 20x)

To me the bigger the better. My dream phone should be about 8" normal screen. Will never happen...
