The plastic scraper doesn’t last long the plastic crackers and the braces break off from the scraper if you buy one reinforce the arms or replace with steel ones

Hi Nicholas, Great question! Roof rakes in fact can damage roof shingles or any roof for that matter if not used properly. Roof rakes are not intended to scrape a roof clean, which will create risk of damage. Instead you want to try to shave the snow down to a 2 or 3 inches on the roof. My roof fake goes 30 feet long. You can get ones that have several poles to link together

Is the roof melt safe for homes with wells?
