It makes me so happy yet sad at the same time when they talk about their high school dance experiences. Happy because they look so happy when they talk about it, but sad because I go to a high school in japan and they don't have any of those kinds of things so I'll never experience what everyone else has experienced.
It feels awful when you can't get a date, can't afford it and even if had date and could have afforded it junior or senior year 2004 and 2005 I wouldn't have been able to go dad needed help with my siblings. It just made me sad.
Its funny because Darren came to talk and sing for a class of mine, and my friend stood up and gave him a rose and asked him to prom, and he was so cute about it and hugged her and said "if i was around i totally would!!" then he asked "is this the new thing? do chicks give guys roses?"
