      @@alondopierce7197Yeah they really could’ve built a crazy good team around him with their draft picks this year too. They didn’t handle him correctly & didn’t coach him correctly. It clearly shows now seeing him on a better coached team, and seeing how efficient he has been. I think his competition percentage is like 73% or something like that, maybe even higher. His 1 interception wasn’t even a terrible throw, it was a ball that got tipped a few times. So yeah, I think they made a big mistake.

    • @rohnthom
      @rohnthom หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alondopierce7197 But JF should have moved on from Chicago. His talent was being wasted under that staff. The difference, from tape I have watched, was that in Chicago he was locked on a target. He got the ball in there sometimes and Moore helped with that, but he just did not see the field well. His arm and legs were never in doubt. It was what was going on in his head that was. Its too early to tell for sure, but it seems that good coaching is fixing him. If that's right, he is gonna be phenomenal.

    Love this, thanks for the breakdown. Fields imo did look better down the stretch of last year too was like 5-2 or something in the last 7 and seemed to be getting it out a lil quicker keeping eyes down field more etc etc BUT it’s clear how much coaching makes a difference man

    What a huge difference coaching and talent makes in a QB. Once the O-line gels I truly believe this could be a dangerous team. The big thing is Fields is reading the field letting his play makers do the work, but always having that running ability. By the way this defense can bring it.

    Great breakdown. This game made me go from a never JF person to a....well maybe he just needed better coaching. Everything that concerned me about his inability to get through progressions and see the field might be vanishing. The talent in his arms and legs were never a question. They were always hindered by what was going on in his head. Now that he has a great coaching staff behind him, he might be really F'ING SCARY! Still early in his post Chicago life, but this is very VERY promising!

    Dude stop sounding like Field's was a lost couldn't read defenses bum last season. He was 5-2 after his thumb injury and played awesome football. Just ask the Lions coach. Fields made a whole bunch of great reads and throws. Stop making it seem like he just woke up all of a sudden because he's a Steeler now. His final home game against the Falcons. The entire stadium of fans were chanting we want Fields. Bums don't get love like that. However, real football heroes do and that's exactly what Fields is. The difference is he's surrounded by better coaching and an OC in Smith who knows what the hell he's doing compared to Luke Getsy pitiful play calling ass. Huge difference. Let all of that undeserved Chicago media whining and bitching and blaming Fields for everything please stop. Enough already. Let him cook and enjoy being on a more appreciative and better team of his skills. The best of Fields is definitely coming. The Dark Knight Rises in Pittsburgh for sure.

I love my Steelers, die hard fan my whole life. but i am also a realist. we played a team with a new QB, though a good, old one, a team with a rookie QB, and a team with a great QB who was only playing at about 60%. my wife is a die hard Bears fan, so i have watched a LOT of Fields. I am also a HUGE OSU fan. my problem with Justin is he, well he used to, stare down his receivers. Big Ben was a MASTER at looking off the defender. There is no question Fields is an EXTREMELY gifted athlete. and i am hoping he proves to be our QB of the future. But i also want to see how we play against the NFL elite teams...

      Falcons beat Philly and got robbed of a win by the refs against KC. Denver went and demolished TB. Chargers were 2-0.
      Nobody here is acting out of line with their expectations. This guy is literally just breaking down reads, ones that Fields was not making in Chicago because they are a garbage organization. Fields has been coached up and his play is the result.
      Every season has ups and downs. See first paragraph. It's an "any given Sunday" league. You are tampering expectations that do not exist. People are just happy to see him play well and go 3-0. Try being excited and stop being a killjoy.
