i feel like the biggest problem, is the fact you can crouch to avoid the ranged attack, between the wide spread, fairly long start up time, and its cool down, i just don't think it'll get much value long as that crouch bit is there
If they reduced or removed the tons of slowdowns he has he’d be a lot more fun. Flight of the Damned is fine with the slowdown but fly, mage hand, and even dispel magic feel so clunky. You’d think a character like Vecna would feel a lot more elegant to play
Love that D&D is becoming more and more mainstream. The 3.5 edition Lore for Vecna and the Forgotten Realms is so cool and deserves more deep dives from games and media
Hmm... Weave and Hoarder might be a fun little combo for him. Maybe with some Dark Devotion or Path of Torement for some stealth, and make it a real trap game. Especially with the addon that turns 2 of the boxes into mimics

Honestly, so glad we got D&D's Vecna instead of Stranger Things'. This chapter as a whole is just so much more unique than what we could've gotten.

Agreed, the fact you don't even make distance using mage hand is insane.
Even more complicated than Skull Merchant, but once you get them down it's waaaaayyyyy fun it seems!
