Visiting the CURSED Lokrum Island near Dubrovnik | Croatia Travel Diaries

Just a short boat ride away from Dubrovnik lies Lokrum Island.
Famous for being the setting of Qarth in Game of Thrones, this peacock filled island is a gorgeous day trip from Dubrovnik - supposedly the monks who used to inhabit the island cursed it when they were forced to leave, bringing misfortune to anyone who stays there. This means the island is now totally uninhabited (no one even stays here over night!).
