I guess, but I'm sorry, even as an Imagine Dragons superfan, the screaming just kills me inside on Cutthroat and Giants. Giants is actually a neat song but it EASILY could've been my personal favorite without those two banshee shrieks on the final chorus. On Bullet In A Gun or Digital from Origins it never bothered me because the aggression in his voice built itself around the song, but I don't like when he just... shrieks incoherently. You know what I'm trying to say?

My most favourite song from this album is “Giants”. I can’t scream my lungs out where I live without alerting the neighbours so it’s very cathartic when Dan screams. It’s like he screams out my pain *for* me, I’m grateful for that. I love all of the song in this album and I listen them all on repeat ❤️
While watching I was worried you weren't going to like some of the more darker toned ones, like Giants, Dull Knives, and Cutthroat. I'm glad you enjoyed these just as much as I did, you've earned a sub :)

They have totally changed alot, and I like alot that he's scream singing now puts all the feelings in the music so well and understandable absulotuely love it!

honestly this album is one of my favorites, my other favourite is smoke and mirrors because they are they only ones with real emotion and dark thoughts. I loved origins and the happiness but I like the true flip back and forth between depression and happiness with the changes in life.
I bought the Combined Act 1 and 2 album a while ago, mostly because I love "Wrecked". But then I went to see them live at the Cape Town Stadium in February and I fell in love with both albums. I actually think Act 2 is better than Act 1. But I listen to both the whole time whilst driving my car.
What I missed in this album were songs that make you want to go out there and give it your all. I am an athlete and songs like Whatever It Takes or All Eyes for example are just so awesome to listen to right before a tough training session or during it. And then On Top Of The World right after it :) Cutthroat is a fantastic song for that, but that's about it.
It legit is my favourite album from them 100%. I'm glad you love it also! Bones was the first track from Mercury Act 2 released, so I have a good feeling we will get the album between July and September 2022. Just a guess tho 😂. I was gonna react to Bones but I had other stuff going on at the time.

Not at all familiar with this band, but enjoyed your reaction to this album. Rick Rubin is a legendary producer. Really liked the opening song (My Life). Many of the tunes remind me of David Byrnes and The Talking Heads (if they were recorded by Rick Rubin in the 21st century). Lots of unique instrumentation and vocal tones. Sounds like many of the songs are lyrically sad, almost depressing. Anyway,, enjoyed your reaction. Don’t be such a stranger!

It’s almost trendy not to like them because they’re so popular in certain circles especially people that feel like the outcasts but also they’re corporately popular with advertisers and things. It’s a stupid reason not to like a whole band but you’re stupid if you hate Imagine Dragons anyway

I think people hate on origins too much, I think it’s a really good album. For me it’s tied with Mercury.
For me the top top album that i loved was and is the night visions. But this album is the next one.

Giants is my fav, by far. Simply put, i love the screams, they’re layer well and bounce of the deep vocals very well.
