I just got the same one in the video a used white 2015 explorer sport with only 32,000 miles with the moon roof I like the twin turbos I'm a turbo lover lol
We almost got the limited, but I couldn't live with the engine, suspension, and looks. So we changed to the Sport model, and I do miss the auto wipers, and park assist. Why can't they give you it all?
Hey Mike, do you know anything about adding a remote starter to an 13 XLT? there is information on the forums stating that if it has the hood sensor then it already is pre-wired for a remote starter and all you need to do is have the dealership enable by connecting it to the computer. ( IDS?) . If I get these step by step instructions from the forums would moon ford be able to do that?
I think they just want to keep the Limited as the model to get if you want ALL the technical features.. The Sport is supposed to be the sport.. Focus on the big engine and the exterior styling
+coaniplays If you took a $41k Explorer Limited and loaded it up with nearly all the options (or highest package), plus all-wheel drive and the EcoBoost engine, plus add a unique leather color and stitching on the seats, and you basically end up with a Platinum at $52k. IMO, an Explorer Sport is a better value since it comes with the awesome EcoBoost engine. Unfortunately only comes in black interior.
I recently got a 2015 sport, beautiful vehicle inside and out with all the bells and whistle’s. But what I have noticed is my fuel economy is a little hard, can anyone suggest some improvements on bettering the fuel economy?
Just brought 2014 limited and with all that plastic in the front I thought there is no way to pull it if it ever got stuck. But I found out there is a tow bolt. (hook) included by the spair tire & jack but don't look very heavy duty. All I ask for was AWD with a power seat because I'm so tall But got a lot more than I ask for. All for only 21k So there 15° F below now @10pm -50 F wind chill tomorrow How you like them apples?
FrustratedNameSearch This is the SPORT trim level of the Explorer, you can always get a one with smaller wheels and more tire if thats what you want :)
Mikes Auto Reviews Yes, but you can't get a Sport with real tires on it, just like my F150 Platinum could only be purchased with 20" Pizza Cutters. Rough riding, low-profile tires have NO business being on trucks or SUV's of this size and utility. Not to mention they look bloody ridiculous. Give me the big EcoBoost in a Limited with 18" wheels and real meats on the corners, and I'll be happy.
I'm planning to buy 2014-2015 model thank you for this video. I would choose limited and just wrap the chrome with black + darken the back lights
Sport also has the bigger brakes and upgraded suspension
I leased the vehicle and I decided to keep it lol that how good it is
do they still liked carbon monoxide inside the cab

Yeah but it should have the HID's. Being the most expensive model. Sucks it doesn't even have it as an option.
I agree, they should have it Paul Shouse
You got a Exploder?
***** How do you like so far? The Dodge Durango look better in my opinion.
Yeah wife actually ordered the Durango. All Around better and it has HIDS and the LED daytime running. 2015 Durango R/T blacktop edition
Paul Shouse The Durango look better then Exploder in my opinion.

Kim Jeansonne Yes it does come with the 2nd row captains chairs.. check out my review here: th-cam.com/video/h4hYPGqYoJo/w-d-xo.html
Anyone know if there is pulling hooks on the front of explorer limited ? 2014
I have the 2017 límited and is the best, has everything you need
I see only the Limited offers the HID headlights? Make no sense why sport doesn't have them.

A tune will help i have a 2012 limited and a 2015 sport. And the sport with a tune now gets about 19 mpg. City and about 25 mpg highway

Eco boost is the worst engines to buy!! Stay away from Eco boost engines
Ehhh I used to say the same till i drove one. I like it way better then my 2012 5.3 Silverado that I traded in for it
Wrong! The Ecoboost is the best engines to buy! So you have caused too much confusion and delay! You better delete this comment immediately! NOW!!!
Nothing has ever been easy with ford?
Anthony Vialet Regarding trim levels you mean ?
Mikes Auto Reviews yes
