I just would like to thank you for your videos so much and say God bless you for doing them . I am an older man who get out on the jettys because of my infirmities as I almost no balance anymore so it is the piers for me and my family doesn't care to fishing much. I live north of Dallas now and it's an all day drive to the coast. So if I get fishing it's usually in a small lake or pond near my home. And keep making videos and maybe give a shout out, ijo my friends call me Peanut (Caja Juates) not sure of proper spelling in Spanish

I let that struggle dictate alot of unhealthy weight gained. Watching learning from you fish with friends and seeing yall be so energetic and healthy really does motivate this chubby girl to be physically fit to get to those jetties and be able to reel in fish. 😅 hopefully the boyfriend doesn't throw me for spending to much on lures .

Took me dad down there on my boat on friday. Hes 85 and cant do the jettys now. But he looked young bringing 2 Jacks in and couple of Pomps. Glad you had a good day.

Soon those Jacks will be scarce and hard to find, I didnt know there was a huge demand for shark bait.
not many are around now because of the weather, water temperature, and water salinity due to the rains.. They are thick just offshore at the moment. There is always a demand for shark bait once the temperatures warm up. Some like to stock up early. If we don't need any they get released ofcourse. However I don't think there is a population problem with them and ifso I'd like to know
You think the sheephead will be good this weekend at Packery jetties?
They will be there. Possibly redfish aswell

Thanks for asking! Yes, my knees are doing a lot better, and I have fully healed now .. it was pretty bad that I actually needed stitches. I was blessed not to get it infected in my situation aswellas have it healed so quickly 🙏!

The reel was a avet 50w with 100 pound braid and the rod was a penn squall rod from a rod and reel combo

@@southtexasfishingfam3436 could you tell me what is the best time of the year to catch pompano, do they only show up at certain times of the year, also I didn’t know you could catch them at the jetty, does the water have to be a certain temperature or what. I would love to catch one, but they are never there when we come down from SATX
@thelmakennedy6173 I generally like to target them in October till December sometimes into January.. however in the spring generally in March they make an appearance at the jetties on clean water days temperature around 67 to 70 water temp
