Yass love the focus on African authors 😍 I really liked this one I read a few years ago called Behold the Dreamers and it really shows a Cameroonian family trying to attain the American dream. I still have the library hold for the girl with the louding voice and I really want to read Stay with Me and A Spell of good things. They sound so good!

I just added "Stay with Me" "In the Belly of the Congo" and "The Girl with the Louding Voice" to my library holds! Last year I read "The House of Rust" by Kenyan author Khadija Abdalla Bajaber, "The Impatient" by Cameroonian author Djaili Amadou Amal, and "Drinking from Graveyard Wells" by Zimbabwean Yvette Lisa Ndlovu and I loved all 3! Highly recommend!
