Unlucky to get an infected foot and a nasty virus at the same time but so lucky that William took you to A & E. I’m glad you were well looked after. Time to rest and recover.
I’m sorry for the medical issues. It is part of what we do though and it sounds like you made the most of the three long walks in the year. Rest up, toughen up those feet, grab the staff and scallop shell and we’ll see you on the trail again.
We did, and we're trying to figure out how we can get back to the UK to finish this walk and fill in the stages that we missed from the Coast to Coast. We loved them both and hate to leave something unfinished.
