I recommend you get hold of a tube of Potter's Pink if you plan to paint much nature. It speeds up the painting of the insides of animals' ears, for example, and is great for delicate flower parts.

Thank you!n I'm surrounded by bluetits right now at our bird table! The other day one crashed into my studio window and stunned itself. I picked it up to warm it up (it was a cold day) and I was afraid it had broken its neck, but after a few minutes it seemed okay, and soon it was able to fly away. It was SO TINY I couldn't believe it, hardly bigger than a tube of paint and weighing considerably less! I'm sure he is still coming to the bird table, I recognise him and he recognises me x
