Not sure how they did it here, initially I used industrial strength double sided tape, but then simply drilled two holes in the bodywork so I could mount it with the two screws. Since it was not the stock bodywork, didn't mind the holes.
@@WiredSolaris yes, I did the same thing on my R6 but the only place I could mount it has it angled and recessed more than I'd like. The mounting shown in this video is ideal.
@@palerider6611 BTW. I mounted the sensor to the top of the tail. That where you put yours? Had to make a custom cable cause the stock one was not long enough. Enjoy the track day videos. I used to have a lot of them but the computer crashed and I lost them all. Bummer!!!!
@@WiredSolaris The GPS sensor for the AIM lap timers (which is what I have and what is shown in this video) is located on the top side of the timer, so no need for an external sensor. Sucks about the videos. I process and save all of mine to an external hard drive. I suppose I could lose that too, but oh well.
I consider CMP and VIR my home tracks. I cannot watch these and not tilt my head and look through the turns as they go through them. :)
