    Assuming that this was shot recently, it looks as though you made it back home safely. Glad to see that. I suspect it felt great to get back to your own bed.

      That's an older video :) Still in Norway, but I agree, it'll be nice to be back to my bed.

    Adrian, this is so nice. It's surprisingly instructive to simply watch you go through the process without any dialogue. These are the bits I'm most often looking for when I watch a professional photographers on TH-cam, the practical act of making an image in the field. It's great to hear your thoughts of course but I really like this format as well. Thanks as always.

      Thank you, David! I did enjoy making this video quite a lot. I think that showing this process says more than a million words. Thanks for watching and for your support!

    Fantastic photos. I see here how you get a lot of great shots by walking around with the camera at eye level and seeing what looks good with the high contrast black and white settings. Very nice!

    • @aows
      @aows  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I do walk a lot and always bring the camera with me. This day was exceptional, though, since the fog gives you so many more compositions that aren't there on a regular day.

    I was really encouraged when you showed the attempt to "find" the image and at times chose to move on because "it" wasn't there.

    • @aows
      @aows  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! That was definitely what I was trying to show here, something that it's hard to explain with words. This way I have a much easier time making the images, and the viewer can see better how I make them. I do like this format and plan on doing it again :)

    Excellent 😊. I love your photography and today youve taught me something I should have known and could have done today, even though I knew its what the pic I was trying to make work needed, but my brain was dumb about. That thing is what you do all the time, and that is to change the photo aspect ratio 🤔👍.
    Tomorrow I will retake those shots i messed up today as a 16 -9 😊. Your an inspiration Adrian 🤗👍.

    Y toodo eso en un día?,bien que te ha cundido la niebla,
    Cuanto te simplifica la composición.....luego hay que estar allí.......Por cierto ,en la foto del minuto 4 a mí me hubiera costado mucho dejar fuera a ese arbolito de la izquierda,pero ya no sería tal minimal ,y contundente .quitando muchísimo peso al árbol grande y llevando a cierta comfusión.....( he visto dos veces seguidas el video porque a la primera me ha llamado mucho la atención )

    • @aows
      @aows  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Todo eso en 3-4 horas, cuando sale la niebla es barra libre! Dudé hacer lo que dices, esta era la idea del vídeo, mostrar cómo llegué a esas imágenes y cuáles dejé por el medio.

    Hey mate, this is impressive as it is inspiring. What do you use to add grain? Is it an add on to PS or LR. Do you add the same amount/settings to each image or change it depending on what the image requires? Many thanks and please continue to make these fantastic videos.

  • @barrycohen311
    @barrycohen311 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Where is all that grain coming from? Is that an "in-camera" setting or something you add later in post? Very nice photos.

    • @Fedor_Tkachev_Music
      @Fedor_Tkachev_Music 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Adrian has at least one tutorial about processing his photos in lightroom, and yes, he adds grain there.
