God I've been working on one lick that Dan plays for 6 days and finally got it with a lip turn and slur work beautiful sound . After a 16/17 Yr from nit playing due to no teeth but 2 yrs ago decided to give it a go and I keep surprising myself , my influence back in 1976 was Teagarden , excellently played Dan , I'm a happy chappy now.

Two years back at it after too many years away from the horn

The tune is by Louis Alter. He is an under respected songwriter. He also wrote the catchy My Kinda Love and the great Manhattan Serenade, the hit You Turned the Tables on Me and the almost forgotten That Wonderful Something is Love.
