My roots are in Kenpo, though it was the Tracy Version , and i went on to do other things but I just love watching these videos . i think there is a lot of great stuff to explore and examine and it's still part of what i teach . Thanks for posting this

Thanks! Yes, Kenpo has since progressed but the core fundamentals are still very much relevant today. It's just physics :)

in the beginning some of the early kenpo was more basic information and later on his life he started to complicate by add more where as in the start it's was easy to understand the art but now it's just to much stuff to take in

it's you compare American kenpo with the Japanese and Chinese kempo it's is a very different art and Professor William Cho who teach the art in Hawaii it is also different too with its more street smarts approach to the arts

respect to your system and instructors, but I as a woman doing American Kenpo have had to use it in the streets. and it very much worked for me and was able to defend myself.

This kenpo video is the classical mess Bruce Lee referred to.

also in all his demonstrate you really never seen him demo the the forms it's almost just prearranged demos to dazzle the people I have yet every seen master parker demo the forms on videos or on old super 8 films

This is true of most arts. They all have prearranged moves. All arts use this formula for practice.

This bullshit is why boxing wipes the floor with Kenpo.

If nothing else, Mr. Parker had a way of over complicating simple ideas.
