I live in Maine so that's a great starting spot, Colors have been really good this year, temps have been mild so lots of photos in the bag and lots of editing for those cold winter months.
Thank you! Going to try fall captures with a new-to-me camera. This was very helpful--especially showing your shot stats. Great hints and beautiful examples, too!
Nice job with the shots & composition of this beautiful area. I lived there for more than a decade and you really captured its essence! Which combo CPL and ND would you recommend for fall shots? Great tips and reminders, thanks!
You may want to look into the PolarPro Quartzline filters that offer a solid ND and circular polarizer combo. Here is a link the various sizes we offer in that filter. bhpho.to/2ZtxCyx
Leave the Non Photographic enthusiast at home or give them a Camera to keep them busy while you shoot- otherwise the Photographer will have a horrible time. Thanks Matt!!
Thank you for the feedback. We are trying to balance the content we deliver between beginner and intermediate. We will have some more intermediate landscape content coming soon. Thanks for watching!
I beg to differ !!.It's nice to see such a gifted photographer talk to regular weekend photographers in a language that they don't find condescending .Too many pros IMHO talk down to amateur photographers with a holier than thou attitude - Matt's calm and reassuring voice has given me to impetus to actually get out , and try new things with the limited gear I have
Tell us your favorite places to take fall photos!

I live in Mukoka, Ontario. I do always chasing the colors of the fall. It’s so magical and beautiful to the place of where I live.
Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway. (Actually, there are many great stops for fall photos on the Parkway!)

Never thought of using a slow shutter speed to smooth out ripples in a lake. Great tip!

Lol... that's nice but we really do not have Autumn season in my neck of the wood. No leaves changing colors.
These tutorials are far too basic. Most watching B&H on TH-cam are already established photographers. Let’s get more advanced tutorials
