I came across this craving my Les Mis fix and read the text and thought you guys sounded like a sad couple with nothing better to do than inflict your obsessions on the rest of us. Then I listened. Holy shit did I listen. So then I realized you guys were doing this only because you're both more than talented enough to pull it off. I agree with lenny, you do sound inspired by Quast which is how I would have tried to sing it too Just about every note I was like "yeah!" I think I'll listen to more
YOU. ARE. AMAZING. Oh my God. I'm honestly stunned. "Stars" was the best thing I've ever heard ever. And "Eponine's Errand" was great too! Her voice is a little squeaky, but it suits the character. YOU TWO ARE AWESOME! ^_^
I am very impressed with this rendition. Most covers of this song are very overdone or have absolutely no emotion, but all I can say about this is bravo! I am working on a les miserables cover cast. If you would like to play Javert please reply to this comment within five days.
Brilliant - very good recording - many thanks. Only problem is in your version you say: "Don't let her father know" - but in some versions Marius doesn't wan't Eponine's father to know (Don't let your father know) - not Jean Valjean. Not sure whether this is just a difference in your version or whether others have this wording too.
I was working on a school project as this video started. I stopped working and listened to your voice and I thought to myself "Holy shit I'm in love with Quasts voice. Then Éponine's Errand started and I was like 'Oh my gosh who is this girl? Her voice suits perfectly to Éponine..." And as I realized it was your video that was playing I was pretty impressed... I'd love to see you on Broadway! (Btw, sorry for my bad grammar! I'm from Germany🙊)♡
Heavenly!
