Wow, i've been trying to get a tailwhip for the 4 years i've been riding scooters for and no videos were able to help me, im watching this video without my scooter next to me and i can already get a visual that i can hopefully get it, i would always whip without jumping that high because i cared more about the whip then the height. I kept on watching this video and i absolutly love it, it really helps with the simple steps throughout it, thank you Jon! btw im only 13

Just started scootering I have a envy s8 I’m 42yrs from Cincinnati Ohio been working on jumping I can get both wheels off the ground now but not that high yet I do enjoy the how to videos
When I try and tail whip my feet go flying and I can’t kick the board with my front foot. I also ride goofy if that has anything to do with it. Any tips pleeasssseeee help

After I learned to catch with that back foot I can do a whip over any ramp/pyramid. They way I learned to catch is by doing whips as high as I could on banked ramps.

This is the greatest tutorial it helped me double tail
When I was younger learned how to whip but it was a weird technique. I would use the ground to catch the scoot and then leaned on top. I would never catch the deck and now I have to go back and learn over old muscle memory.
