Out of everyone in the rap game Tyler literally has the most entertaining interviews. I can listen to his interviews for hours. Such a charismatic character! This man deserves all the flowers!
What he said about Kendricks album at 56:00 was so true. People need to realize how necessary the emotional vulnerability of artists like Kendrick and Tyler are especially to black kids and black people. That’s why I think Mr Morale is a landscape in music.
I love how T has been on a Constant interview run during this past year, it really gives insight on where he’s at in life and really showcases that his creativity at this point is endless. He truly is a dedicated Visionary of our generation
when cmiygl was released, i was on a trip to florida and me and my family were in the car for most of the day listening to the album. my dad absolutely loved wilshire and he replayed it until our flight home. it's crazy to think that tyler didn't even expect people to enjoy it and now everyone loves it.
1:01:37 is the most important part and honestly inspiring part for me. hearing these words from someone like tyler especially, it makes you feel like you can do the things you really want to do.
A general theme from all the questions was to just do what you want and be honest about it, even if others don't f with it. Funny how tyler had to answer it like 5 times, but everyone's got the struggle of either being judged, or judging yourself too critically. Appreciate this interview~
its crazy how being an observer you notice how many "obstacles" aren't really there, hearing Tylers pov about creating shows how easy it is. He just does it simply because he wants to and is satisfied with that and the rest of us over complicate it .
He really put myself into perspective and made me answer all my own questions about these doubts and about people judging me. Seeing how everyone in the crowd has ambitions and talents, yet fear is the biggest factor of not being able to create that world, really does suck cause it’s all of the fear of being judged. Imagine how many great things we haven’t seen yet because of being scared. This interview really made me say fuck it and for me to do what I want, what I love.
Him and Vince Staples have very interesting interviews. I always learn something from them when I watch their interviews. And I come to realize that Tyler has been a influence on my style of clothes, expanding my taste and trying out new colors.
The interviewer is really good especially at 39:50 where he helped Tyler really understand the person’s question better and ensure that it was answered well
This was different!! I always watch Tyler’s interviews but seeing him here give the audience/fans advice really showed how great of a mentor and how genuine he is.
By the way: I love how in these converse interviews Tyler always gets people that are genuinely his fans, like they ask questions from a point of having consumed his stuff. The energy they give comes from him and it's so positive. I love you all❤
LIKE ????? it gave me the biggest smile when the first guy discussed the particular LINES. LITERAL LINES. from november that inspired him? what? i just love that shit.
This honestly made me tear up when he was talking about recording that whole song in one take sitting on a couch with the handheld, it’s important that he knew he would never feel exactly like that again 😢 I’ve had many moments like that, and that I’m compelled to use in that moment in a creative way and you just can’t replicate it, it has to be that way.
Bro, this interview is going to change somebody’s life. Like, you remember when J Cole used that skit of Hov saying something like, ‘there’s a kid somewhere writing some shit right now’ or whatever? This is gonna be someone’s spark.
The thing is Tyler not only gives you art, he also shares perspective. He is literally living so when it’s time to make a project, create a shoe, talk to folks, it’s all from experience. The best music always comes from living.
i love these talks so much, genuinely so funny and so interactive. tyler is so passionate abt everything he expresses and i love that, you can really see how it permits to his music asw.
Didn't expect to watch this whole thing.... but damn this man has become an idol in our generation, so many good points made and so many good questions asked. 10/10
I love the converse interviews with T and this is a good one. Everyone had good questions and their french accents is so beautiful. I just got my pair of GLFs 2.0 and they're an amazing shoe!! Love Converse
I LOVED every moment of this interview/ interaction! I initially came to hear his take on Kendrick’s album and left with sooooooo much more. Truly a REAL NIGGA as we say in LA. So humble yet confident so laid back and authentic. He was teaching and answering with love and honesty and even I was made a little bit better after this interaction. Love to everyone in the. Comments & whoever reads this, keep being great.
I love how the crow squeaked as soon as Tyler said “someone like Virgil, someone who’s always looked down for me”. What a precious sign from Virgil letting Tyler know he STILL does
He truly is a special artist and I’m glad this happened. It’s incredible that he can apply so much solid advice to so many walks of life and people pursuing different types of art.
He is very good at expressing himself. When he talks about living on the west coast, I think living in Chicago, you get all 4 seasons, I have lived in California and Arizona, ok but Illinois is my home.
That story about Wilshire definitely gives me a new way of thinking when it comes to how I want my personal art done. Messy, but true to Me and My Emotions. wow
His explanation on Wilshire was something I feel a lot of genuine Tyler fans understood immediately. But just to hear him really detail the process and how he recorded it made me go listen again
Tyler is such a smart dude. Hearing him talk about not letting yourself fall into one single category seriously made me realize how deeply he sees into things
I haven't seen it mentioned here before but how crazy was that bird chirping exactly in the moment in which tyler talks about virgil and how he always looked out for him 15:50
I love that Tyler is one of the few (prominent) artists breaking the same old verse-chorus/hook-verse-chorus-pre chorus-chorus structure. One of my FAVORITE things about, “Fascination Street,” by my #3 group, “The Cure,” is that track totally ditches that structure, AND they just let the most goosebump inducing parts ride, and soak it up, repeating (a lot like, “EARFQUAKE”). Meanwhile, my #1 artist (not saying they’re the best, but they are MY personal favorite), Linkin Park, have ALWAYS made incredible bridges and worked their ass off on bridges through their entire career… Think about their most popular song, “In The End,” the Bridge is what everyone in the audience belts out, and loses their mind to. And, it comes in so small, then the beat drops out, then they repeat the fuckin Bridge, but it EXPLODES in with POWER… There’s a lot of commonality Tyler as an individual shares with a lot of my favorite groups artists, quite honestly.
him talking about wlishire just inspired me to drop this song about me and my thoughts going back and forth because of how depressed i am and what i thought about myself. so inspiring. (thoughts out now on my yt)

That’s why radicals is my favorite song from him. Cheesy asf but it changed how I see life and how I want to go about with my dreams and ambitions.
Tyler: I like to use my words super wisely.
