David was a gifted pianist and played keyboards in many bands. He rebelled against God because of legalistic parents. Three months before he died he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. Upon listening to this song today, I literally started balling and fell to the floor sobbing David played this on the piano all the time. He was the most amazing man who led me to Christ without even trying. What a perfect example of the fruit of the Spirit. His mother was a praying woman. His father was the Church choir director for 30 years. I remain faithful and praise God for the gifts He has given me. What a beautiful song. Thank you, Brooks and Dunn.

I was crushed when Conway died. I still remember when my wife told me he was.gone. I was lost as far as anyone who could bring out his emotions and feelings in a song.. I had great singers I admired, but very few that could make you feel and live the song since Conway. Then, I was watching the CMA awards, and this song was performed. With tears streaming down my face from the emotions Ronnie showed, and his fabulous performance, I knew there was someone that had the talent and the "it" factor, so to speak, to stand on the stage with Conway. For me, that is the highest honor I can give any singer/ performer. All these years later, I still believe Conway and Ronnie Dunn are the greatest in my generation.

My mother passed away last year, losing an 8yr battle with Alzheimer's for which I lived and took care of her 6yrs. I not only lost my mother, I lost my best friend. If I weren't a christian, believed in God, and this song......I wouldn't be here today either. I WILL see her again one day, and THAT keeps me going.

I was crushed when Conway died. I still remember when my wife told me he was.gone. I was lost as far as anyone who could bring out his emotions and feelings in a song.. I had great singers I admired, but very few that could make you feel and live the song since Conway. Then, I was watching the CMA awards, and this song was performed. With tears streaming down my face from the emotions Ronnie showed, and his fabulous performance, I knew there was someone that had the talent and the "it" factor, so to speak, to stand on the stage with Conway. For me, that is the highest honor I can give any singer/ performer. All these years later, I still believe Conway and Ronnie Dunn are the greatest in my generation.

My son built a little house out in the back yard ...He called it his bar...He'd blast this song out and i'D LOOK OUTSIDE TO TELL HIM TO TURN IT DOWN,,,but I couldn't...He was standing out there singing at the top of his lungs with his arms raised to the Lord....My son was not perfect but he had a heart of gold...I miss him. He passed in 2011.
