@Nick Heard good things about SIG, all online though, haven't shot one myself or personally know anyone who owns one. I have a Colt CCU, would recommend it. Its accurate about 1.5k rounds through it FMJ, hollowpoints, reloads, gun just works, best pistol I own. Do your research though, some 1911 (cough, Kimber) are notoriously finickyand unreliable.
Regardless of weight or velocity they are dropping at the same rate that a bullet dropped out of your hand would drop. Edit: I think... unless there is some "lifting body" effect, but then if that was the case... wouldn't bullets sail away toward the sky when you were aiming dead on at 50 yards?
gwarkan yes, but the distance away from you that the bullet would be when dropping a specific height is different depending on velocity, so his statement is still valid.
I'm lucky to own a lower end 1911 and when I grow up I would love a Nighthawk. They are just a tad out of my price range right now but they make beautiful firearms.
Got to shoot a Nighthawk GRP once, range nearby had one as a rental. Amazing shooting handgun, afterwards I really understood why people spend the money on these.

JustCruzinn lol smith & wesson M&P’s look better then glock, and I’m not a smith fanboy either, I actually carry a G19x, I’ve found that the glock gen 5 variants (G19x,G45,G17,G19) are the best shooting 9mms out there

Also keep in mind the Dan Wesson 1911 (Semi Custom) Extremely Well Made, and a Great Great 1911 for a bit less than the full Custom pistols. Hickok 45 really likes the Dan Wesson and has done I think two Videos on them.
I own a nighthawk as well and it is my most accurate handgun. The people at nighthawk are amazing to work with when ordering and customer service is terrific.
Sure hope you never need to use it... Cops will confiscate for a good while even if you are 100% justified. From where i sit carry gun should be semi disposable...

Great choice. 1500 rounds and I love mine. No issues with it so far. Same gun except it has a rail and a surefire light. Can't say I shoot it like hickok but it makes the user want to practice. Nighthawk offers some great leather holsters as well. They even made one to fit the light on mine.
It's a beautiful gun... And one of the worst truly, Reliability not really top, Easily removed, seven fucking bullets in the magazine, 7! Really not crazy as a weapon, except for pit fired
I've had two Nighthawks. I had the Dominator and the Vickers model. I've been shooting various guns for some 40 years. Those Nighthawks were the finest guns I ever owned. I knew they were super special from the first time I dropped the slide. It just spoke to me the way it locked up.
What gorgeous gun. I bought my first 1911 3 months ago and love it. (Ruger sr1911 target) considered getting a Wilson combat 1911 after but opted for the WC protector ar pistol 11.3” in 5.56. I’ll have to look closer into Nighthawks. Sure is a looker...
I've got a Les Baer, Wilson combat, and a 1961 Colt 1911 that Clark has his initials and year made stamped in the gun. The clark is the best 1911 I have. He put a flat faced trigger in it and some Wilson target sights on the gun. Its a great gun that will stand the test of time.

I recently purchased my first handgun, may not be a $2,000+ custom, heck it's not even a Colt. I just got me that good ol' Remington R1 .45 and I'm in love with her. I'm more than glad I watched your videos before deciding what to get. Because I was looking at Glock 9mms. You saved me!! To me there is something when you buy a budget gun and you start buying upgraded parts and you do all the work yourself and personalize it how you want versus buying an expensive custom and not being able to tinker with it as much since it's already all high grade parts and everything already has a smooth operation and polished out. I have stepped on a path that I had no clue was so enjoyable.
I bought a Nighthawk Bob Marvel Custom stainless five years ago and will never part with it. It is a wonderful piece with outstanding fit and finish. Flawless performance to date! Highly recommend Nighhawk.
Ordered my Agent2 Nighthawk in March with all the golden trim and trigger. It took a few months to receive my 1911 45 but well worth the wait. One handgun I hope to hand down to my children. Beautifully crafted and shoots like a dream.

Speaking of great craftsmanship a girl friend of mine gave me a beautiful NRA hand crafted Theodore Roosevelt pocket knife that belonged to her father. Maybe, it's not all about firing guns, a lot of zombie survival is about being able to think on your feet, ingenuity, being cautious but taking calculated risks, hand to hand combat training, knife disarms techniques, cardiovascular fitness, physical strength, mental fortitude, charisma, daescalating situations and being a natural born leader. Firearms training should come after that.
My Sig 1911 is my absolute favorite pasture carry pistol. Come to think of it, it's my favorite pistol period. Obviously not a custom, but I spent quite a lot of time fine-tuning it when I first bought it. Cheers!
Superb hand fitting. The edges of the slide have been gently radiused, and sharp corners nicely rounded. I like the concept of serious social work pistols, no frills, no decorative doodads, no flat topping the slide, no fluting the barrel hood, no skip line checkering. Just functional features for serious social work where there is no second place winner. The GSP is Nighthawk's version, Global Response Pistol. I had played with one at a high end gunstop, but I decided to get the Ed Brown Special Forces. Thr differences were so slight I really didn't see any distinct separations. I just felt thr EB SF was just a tiny bit smoother.

I have an Agent 2 in 9mm and it is hands-down the nicest handgun I have ever fired. Traded 8 guns in to get it, and still had a $1300 tab, but I haven't had gun envy ever since!
I traded my GRP Recon with rail for a rare Springfield Custom 1911. Both are great but the fit and finish of the Springfield was slightly tighter and better with groups
I got a chance you rent one of these years ago at Ontarget in middle TN. What a fantastic shooting pistol. They really are expensive, but I have trouble feeling they're overpriced. They're right where they need to be.

you shooting that furthest gong up on the hill at 75 yards you can literally see the .45 cal bullets in the air on the way to the target actually see it hit! so cool. they are so slow. compared to a. 5.56
I bought my first Wilson Combat in 2005. I struggle to try to explain how nice it shoots and feels. Surely Nighthawk being started by ex-Wilson employees, they are worth the money. I am not a 1911 snob, but the custom 1911's are just works of art. I traded in a couple of guns and a bunch of cash for it, and have no regrets.

We used to shoot my buddy's grandfather's WWII 1911 at the clouds because we thought it was so cool to see the bullets. Lol. This was way out on his farm so no one was in danger.
I recently bought a Turnbull 1911, I'm looking forward to buying a Nighthawk or Ed Brown or Wilson C soon. I've been outside putting our broken washing machine out of it's misery with my Kimber. 150 rounds should put it to sleep for good. Thanks Hickok, John.

I'm blessed to have obtained two Nighthawk 1911's, a Talon and a T3 Stainless, and they are truly some of the finest pistols I've ever used.
I love when you shoot 45 calibers at the gong and the camera zooms in and you can see the bullet drop as it hits the gong.

I think Tim built my 9mm GRP as well. It's a wonderful shooting gun that I work hard and shoot a lot. Smooth as butter and sick accuracy.

you shooting that furthest gong up on the hill at 75 yards you can literally see the .45 cal bullets in the air on the way to the target actually see it hit! so cool. they are so slow. compared to a. 5.56
I bought my first Wilson Combat in 2005. I struggle to try to explain how nice it shoots and feels. Surely Nighthawk being started by ex-Wilson employees, they are worth the money. I am not a 1911 snob, but the custom 1911's are just works of art. I traded in a couple of guns and a bunch of cash for it, and have no regrets.

We used to shoot my buddy's grandfather's WWII 1911 at the clouds because we thought it was so cool to see the bullets. Lol. This was way out on his farm so no one was in danger.

I recently bought a Turnbull 1911, I'm looking forward to buying a Nighthawk or Ed Brown or Wilson C soon. I've been outside putting our broken washing machine out of it's misery with my Kimber. 150 rounds should put it to sleep for good. Thanks Hickok, John.
