He's exactly right about AI Not having private inner sentience. The confusion comes from the fact that inner human thought and outward speech are ALSO human behavior. An AI can mimic the exact behavior of thought and speech but that is not done with inner sentience. All the computer does is follow the logic of human thought with a silicon machine.

Such a conversation could only serve as entertainment -- and for a very limited audience. In my opinion, neither Kastrup nor Barron would have any interest in having such a conversation or debate. I would be interested enough to watch only if Barron were to take off his bishop hat, figuratively, which he would not be permitted to do even if he wanted to. Apologetics is a game of rhetorical trickery that Bernardo is too smart to fall for.
