I think the callout at the beginning was so that you knew it was a live (processed later) performance. They don’t do it on the studio album version and unfortunately I think it set you guys up to not like the song? Maybe? But that’s the great thing about music! Not everyone has to like the same thing. I love it! 😂 Love you guys!!!! Keep up the shenanigans!
I'm SHOCKED at my enjoyment of this song was at odds a bit with the boys here. It's rare, but I'm happy that it's always honest here. That's why I'm always interested in seeing the reactions here in The Breakdown.
The raw nature of the video + the fact that its an actual perfomance make this song hit 10x harder. Its so much more "real" vs lip synching in front of a green screen IMO.
Yeah i like how he said he wanted paleface to explore his clean vocals on a feature when he says he doesn't watch paleface a lot. I usually enjoy their reactions but this one seemed to really miss the point. But oh well, they can't all be hits i suppose.
@@daltonevans3412he wants his cleans because his cleans are intelligible, versus literally every other thing he does vocally. If 80% of what the band does vocally, why would he listen to them MORE regularly 🤔 Like, if someone hates the Knocked Loose vocals, they're not going to listen to them MORE. They're going to listen to them LESS. In that case, at least Bryan's vocals are intelligible 🤷
Oh, and call outs have always been shit. It's literally just an overpaid mainstream rapper wanting to be famous than doing something interesting to make them famous 🤷
@@nolankuffner3573 this was the first time i heard the paleface vocalist and i picked up on literally all but like 2 words in this song. His screams are definitely intelligible, gets a little dicey when he's going really fast but is still understandable. But the reason i made my comment is because he says he wants an artist to explore a part of his vocals that he is not known for, on a feature where he is being asked to perform the part of his vocals he is known for, while saying he doesn't like that artist. It's just not the time or the place for an artist to explore a lesser used part of his vocals, so if he wants to hear him explore that he should go and actually listen to his music where he does explore that, otherwise he's just saying he doesn't like the artist with extra steps instead of just coming out and saying he doesn't enjoy that artist.
Landmvrks lead singer, Florent Salfati, featured in a Paleface song called "Dead man's Diary" and that's how I got introduced to them. And maaaaan I been blasting their music ever since.
I really liked it, but my only critique is that all of the vocals seemed to be too far back in the mix. I personally would have liked all of their voices to be brought forward more, but otherwise it was a great collab song for me.
I really like this song, the purpose to provide the backing layering vocals for resolve was certainly clever, although I would of liked them at the forefront more.
Love that you were impressed by the way the vocalists interact and hold themselves (it was the same here) and the cinematography. It's a good track, but it did feel like it was missing something on first, listening, after a couple, I settled in with it and started to enjoy it more. Great reaction as always, fellas!
I didn't think that was cringe, I actually felt like it was a cool touch. If I'm not mistaken, that was a live playthrough. Just friends chilling together) let them announce the hell out of it, they're cool) It's also lyrically a very cool song imho of course) The album version is without the features, and still sounds awesome, don't know which one's better to be honest) I totally agree on the signing, they're all beast but I'd love to hear the guy from Paleface Swiss and Ten56 to sing a bit more. We know they can scream, we need them to sing too) P.S You guys didn't even move to the music :D captivated XD
I think the actually studio version of the track minus the guest appearances sounds better. This version even download sounds very distorted so I don’t get a really clear sound like I did hearing and watching the video.
Don’t understand the dislike of the band call-outs? As if like 95% of people aren’t going to listen to this without the video? Bit silly to be honest, still dig the honesty of the reaction. Good song that will fit into resolves album pretty well I feel.
Honestly? It feels like something a vocalist in 2003 would have done and now we know that person was a racist / sexist / pretty inappropriate person overall. It's an ego thing, and for how bad Paleface's vocals were here, it comes across as undue arrogance 🤷
@@nolankuffner3573wtf are you on about? Implying that any one of these people are any of those things cause a vocalist from the early 2000s happened to do it and end up being like that takes a high level of stupidity and ignorance.
I think this is one of the best songs to be released this year. All three vocalists brought it in their own, characteristic way, so I’m not sure what exactly you were expecting. You guys have reacted to all of the bands represented in this video, so I’m surprised with how much you’re surprised/unprepared for what these vocalists are bringing on this track. Obviously music is subjective, so I’m not requesting an immediate re-visiting of both songs, but respectively, listen again
It's something different, in the same way his two previous releases, new colors and human, deserve to be heard. I have seen worse topics reacted on this channel with more enthusiasm, including pop things.
I agree with you's. It made me want to listen to it without the video. Overall i thought it was alright. Nothing too fancy. I'm sure it fits well into the album. I wonder what version they are going to use though. They have the same song on Spotify but without the features. Anthony does a great job as always
Not a fan personally, and agree with the critique. Found the multiple vocalists more of a gimmick than a positive addition to the song. Can see why some would like this though

"What is this a rap video?" - The only cringe thing in this video.

Your honesty is why your such a good channel, so many channels never criticise anything
“Fucken cringe, no need” love it 😂😂😂

Resolve are FUCKING incredible. Yes boys.
Absolutely love the song! Looking forward to the album release from Resolve. 👍

Well, the actual song is just them 🤣
Johnny, did you see Thrice during their recent Aussie tour?
Sure did!
some of those sounds Aaron makes freak me out in a good way
Love that you were impressed by the way the vocalists interact and hold themselves (it was the same here) and the cinematography.

Paleface is beat down deathcore. This is def nothing like their music so it’s really cool to see how they all interact.
Yeah it made me laugh when Johnny was wondering if Zelli gets melodic in Paleface
@@shinokugt😂😂😂 yeah. They need to listen to paleface to understand how this is way out of character for the type of music he normally doing
Been waiting for this one!!!!🤘
"Not a rap video", it's a live video. Hence the introduction. Actual song doesn't have it.
Paleface added Swiss to their name allegedly because of some legal reasons.
Makes it easier to find too. There are at least 2 other artist of the same name
i would like to see you reacting to paleface, they are such a good band
I love the screamonics!!!
I think the actually studio version of the track minus the guest appearances sounds better. This version even download sounds very distorted so I don’t get a really clear sound like I did hearing and watching the video.
Hey there , Welcome to the party …Finally
Sheesh
Zelli being on this track threw me all the way off.
What if music is also for the blind? Vocal intro's FTW? LOL
I love a good gun show! Johnny is looking great with this hair, too!

Yeah that sort of thing obviously doesn’t happen in metalcore but it’s super common and normal in rap
@@shinokugtalso, this is a 2nd version of the song with the features in a vocal performance. The callouts are okay due to that.

We both said we’d listen again. Also, three vocalists from bands we’ve enjoyed doesn’t necessarily make a great SONG.
Awesome track. A+
How have these fellas not reacted to New Colors yet?
this song grew on me big time, was one of my least favourites, now i love it.
Here
I love this version a lot but I somehow prefer the Anthony version
I respect your guys honesty but you really missed on this one, this absolutely rips
It's something different, in the same way his two previous releases, new colors and human, deserve to be heard. I have seen worse topics reacted on this channel with more enthusiasm, including pop things.
Different can be good too.
Unless different is just mixing shitty mainstream hip hop into a rather dull metal instrumental.

I like the idea of this track, just feels like a swing and a miss for me.
We own the night - dance Gavin dance mix it up a little for a fellow Aussie
We only do new tracks sorry mate! But that is a banger
If they took out that announcing bollox at the start this song would be fkn 🔥 I did enjoy it though for sure
Bollox is a fun word
It's seriously under used, imo @@nathandjohnny
It’s not in the studio version.. listen to that
Stop pausing dudes. It’s completely ruins songs that way

I like Resolve, but I didn't really enjoy this song. The chorus is the only thing that stood out for me.
