@@Cat4c It is good for the person who already have a good basics. but if you wanted to start from zero then don't join and if you have a good academics and good hands on maths then there is not a big problem at all you can go for it.

@@Dhushyant-g1n hey. Honestly, it depends. There are pros and cons to both. I had no backup and no option to leave the job so I did it with job anyway. For instance, I will give you one pro and con of each: Leave job and focus full time on cat: Pro: single mind focus, no disturbance Cons: you feel pressured to excel and have nowhere to deviate your mind to With job: Pros: you get to meet colleagues and discuss various things which might help you in building your opinions for gd/pi processes Cons: time management is a challenge if your work demands a lot from you. Choose your battle depending on what is your situation. You are the best judge. Both kind of people with/without job excel in the exam.

@@Dhushyant-g1n There is no coding required for IIMs. They might ask you some questions in interview if you have any background in coding like job experience or if you had coding subjects in engineering. Otherwise, batches are very diverse academically.
Hi mam, I'm preparing for CAT 2024 this year , and I've got a job just before a week and didn't mention anything about my work experience in the cat application form , and before the interview happens I'll get 6-7months of work ex can I use this as my work experience even though I didn't mention in my application form Pls do let me know 😊

Try to analyse patterns in the questions and your mistakes. I hope it helps. Having said that age is not a barrier to enter IIM. I was 23 when I joined and passed out when I was 25. I request you to not be demotivated only because you are of a certain age. You can always look for PGP EXECUTIVE or other courses.

You can take any coaching that fits in your budget and checks your requirements. You can otherwise buy second hand coaching materials as well.
