I love that I found your channel, you are a sweetheart! My question is what did you get your bachelor degree if it wasn't nursing and how long did it take you total to finish school?
Hi! I got my degree in chemistry. The AA program is 24-28 months. I chose Case Western because it was only two years. So undergrad 4 years + 1 year working/exploring life + 2 years AA program= 6 years.
Hi! I think you’re hilarious btw and I love that you’re God fearing. He gets me through everything! I wanted to ask do most schools require general physics or they accept college physics?
Hey Farren, just wanted your thoughts on my plan to become an AA.🎉 So I have an unrelated bachelor's degree already and have been taking prereqs to go into healthcare. I'm thinking that if I want to do AA that I would need a whole 2nd bachelor's degree and ace it, because my first one was a dumpster fire. My gpa is only a 2.8( I had no idea what I was doing back then. ) Also I want to become a RT as well to give myself a really solid foundation and good patient care experience to drawn upon. I also want to get into tutoring chemistry and volunteering more. What do you think?
So the plan is to reset your gpa by doing another bachelors? I understand a lot of us go to college because we just think that’s the next step even though we may not be ready. I took two years off after HS before I started college. I would check to see if there are any alternative ways to bring gpa up and confirm that you would get to start a new gpa and that the credits are not additive(this would not help your gpa) RT would be great experience, or any kind of patient care experience (I did not have any when applying). Your journey is going to make for a wonderful personal statement.
Also do not make it harder on yourself. Like if you can take gre vs mcat take the gre. Don’t take the most difficult classes. It’s already hard, don’t make it harder. Does that make sense? That’s something I wish I knew.
Hi Farren, embrace for the weird question but I am 27 years old and feel like I am too old to start a new career but Im finishing up my bachelors do you think I am too late in the game to start ??
Girllllllll I am 27 right now! You can come out at 29, 30, 31, and live your best life. Come on and start this journey. We only live once and we ain’t practicing sis! We got time.
Yes that’s why I be trying tell yall to call the schools first to see if they will accept the credits especially when you’re taking online classes or you take the classes after you’ve already graduated. They be real funny sometimes and I’m sure it’s more strict now that sooo many of yall are applying
