    Thank you for your help. Without this I should have called a plumber. I was not the only guy who was looking for such rubbery ring in the shop. Such a coincidence...

    Hired a plumber to fix my dripping toilet. He said he "adjusted it", but he couldn't do better without ordering new parts.
    He charged me a lot and it didn't fix the problem.
    Turns out the toilet just need a maintenance clean after 10 years (from the previous owners). No new parts were needed.
    You probably saved me about $1000 with this video.

    very nice video it really helped me. Mine is the same model. The valve seal was fine, but there was a lot of calcium build up and I cleaned it, also with vinegar.

    Thanks a lot! I've successfully fixed my first toilet ever with the help of your video. Bonus for mentioning the part number need.

    Thank you for this. I couldn't figure out how to get the central bit out and you turning it upside down inside the tank provided the answer. My thinking was I needed to disassemble it inside the tank and that would've been much harder. I didn't need to replace anything, just clean the tons of limescale that has accumulated.

    Nice job! 👍
    I replaced main flush seal but still have small leak. So I need to clean the float valve assembly, as you have done.

    Very good TH-cam I have the same Geberit concealed tank and need a new part. Do you know the model name and number of this concealed toilet so I can order the correct part ?
    Many thanks

      This would be Geberit Kombifix, the number (visible at 2:00) is "110.302.00.1". If this is the same cistern you have, you may be looking for this: catalog.geberit.co.uk/en-GB/spare-part/Sigma-concealed-cisterns-12-cm-(UP300)/SPT_461052.html

      @@marekf5 I see this datasheet everywhere. However, in the Look Inside at th-cam.com/video/Z8df_7aw9HA/w-d-xo.html you can see the basket/cup that the green flush valve rests in?
      That thing is not listed on the datasheet. That valve and basket have been replaced by the 212 universal flush valve. Everything looks like it's literally a 'drop-in' replacement, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove that old basket. With effort I can make it turn, but either I lack the strength or dexterity to get it out of the bottom of the tank.
      Anyway, thanks for the video, this is an exact match of my setup. Unfortunately I need to replace a little more than the seal. ;-)

    I have one question: The unit (at 4:51, whose rubber flush valve seal you replaced) can be further disassemble? Is there any other seal inside this unit to be cleaned or replaced?

    • @marekf5
      @marekf5  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hm. It should disassemble further, I think, but I would not expect any other seal in there. Have not tried myself though.

    Hi Marek. The clip holding the inlet valve level broke. What is the model number of this cistern?

    • @marekf5
      @marekf5  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, no idea. Maybe the number visible at 2:00 will help, I do not have anything else.
