Thank you for your effort to support us and learn us such complicated installation for a newer users for Oracle APEX like me, that's a one thank, the another one is that the most recent releases that expose some new commands and installation work flow never mentioned strait foreword like you did, hope your channel grow, and I'll always support and follow, much Love and Thanks
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! I'm glad to hear it worked for you on the first try. Your support means a lot, and I'm happy the instructions were clear. Stay tuned for more tutorials!
Very fantastic video. Was able to get the work done. A few observations. "Oracle java -jar ords.war install" is deprecated and it didn't run. I had to use "ords --config d:/ords/config install". I was also struggling with the non-english displays. All in all, I got everything done. Thank you so much!
Thank you for your efforts .. I followed the videos steps but at the end when trying to run the apex url I had the message "There is a problem with your environment because the Application Express files have not been loaded. please verify that your image prefix path is correct. Your current path is /i/ ".. I used apex 24.1 , ords 24.1 windows server 19 and jdk 17 .. any comment will be appreciated ..
Thank you. Is the working copy "Merge to main" feature working correctly. Because I read from the oracle release notes that 19.16 db version is required for "Merge to Main" feature to work. Please let me know on this
Thanks for your interest! I’ll be making a video soon on how to configure Oracle APEX with Tomcat. I'll add the link in the comments once it’s available. Stay tuned!
hi, here is the tutorial for Oracle Apex installation with Tomcat. Blogpost: apexnote.blogspot.com/2024/08/how-to-install-oracle-apex-241-on.html TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/TtmQXQbRicc/w-d-xo.html
Before you proceed, you should create a batch file. You can follow this guide on how to create one: th-cam.com/video/5-bCGyZ_ER8/w-d-xo.html Once you have your batch file ready, you can add it to the Windows startup folder to run it automatically when the system starts. Alternatively, you can create a task in the Task Scheduler and configure it to run the batch file at startup. This gives you more control over the conditions under which the batch file runs.
Please ensure that your ORDS is running. If you encounter any errors, share your error message. Otherwise, follow this tutorial for Oracle Apex installation with Tomcat. Blogpost: apexnote.blogspot.com/2024/08/how-to-install-oracle-apex-241-on.html TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/TtmQXQbRicc/w-d-xo.html
