He said that he decided not to give this to a media house like amazon prime or Netflix because he feels that where ever he is, is because of you tube and his audience. So it would be wrong to make people pay for a subscription to watch this. Therefore he made it a you tube original and free of cost.
Yea TH-cam is free, so all his subscribers can watch, hence higher views , thus more profit for him.
Plus, if he would have sold it too Amazon prime or Netflix; they would have charged a higher tax, hence less profit for him
@@randomtk Bro you literally have no idea how TH-cam or any OTT app works... Revenue from TH-cam is nowhere near the profit he would receive by selling it to Netflix or Amazon Prime. Do you have any idea why most of the top Series are launched on Netflix and not TH-cam? And above that there's not even a single ad on his series which means he's earning nothing from the ad revenue too. The revenue he's getting is probably only from TH-cam which is minimal or from a sponsor(If he had any). Also what Tax are you talking about? There's no such Tax. So atleast give the guy some credit instead of making up fake statements and reducing his effort to mere profit.
