I see many comments from ppl who will not make it out of pools in a local tournament criticizing knee character picks😂. Ppl are really funny. Firstly, knee is not getting any younger so its normal to face decline. Secondly, the game is not even upto a year yet. knee's tinkering with different characters n strategies might be a way to find a system that works for him in t8. Ppl should just chill n enjoy d game

True, if you wanna complain about character picks, that’s on Bandai not Knee or any other player. Personally I think Yoshi is the most broken character in the game at the moment, he has literally everything, is more well rounded then jin, gets more damage, has better counter hit launching low and has unblockable lows, he has the healing of Jun, the keep out of Lee, better evasion then Lili, the range of victors sword, has the fastest counter hit launcher in the game with flash with also heals and can be used as a combo filler for huge healing, he has a better counter hit low then Jin’s D2, he benefits hugely for the aggressive meta and more. The character has literally everything, way more the every other character in the game, bro is the Jack of all trades like Jin, but unlike Jin Yoshi is still the master of most things like range, speed, counter hits, healing, keep out etc. Even Sin said that Yoshi needs to be nerfed and he has been a huge at tournaments lately. But I still wouldn’t blame Sin for picking Yoshi, Sin is pretty new to Tekken and is playing is tournaments, so I expect him to use the best character he can. If it’s broken (which I think it definitely is, especially since despite Yoshi having everything he can do more damage then well rounder characters like Jin with less tools such as Rage, stage gimmicks etc, and half the execution.) then it’s Bandai’s problem, not the player.

@@dylaroo24 I can see where u coming from n while yoshi is very strong he cannot be compared to the very oppressive characters like Nina n dragunov. T8 is an aggressive game and Yoshi's aggression is lackluster. Yoshi's spin evade n flash makes him a formidable opponent in this aggressive game but all that can be dealt with a lil bit of patience. Another reason that puts yoshi quite high than his previous iterations is also his high damage. For a trickster character his damage is a bit too much

@@SharkfinExorcist To be able to have everything in the game while still being the master of most and getting more damage then a all rounder like Jin and having better counter hit low launchers and better -13 mid launchers is crazy. I agree Nina and Drag are also overpowered as hell right now, I still see Yoshi as worse. You say his aggression is lacklustre but that doesn’t matter much when the meta is aggression. He is a super evasive and defensive character, so you eventually have to engage with him, and when you do he does his ranged and unblockable strings. Yoshi and hit you with unblockables or ranged attacks before you even get close, and if you get close he spins out and we repeat. He has better high crushing moves then Jin with even more damage, Yoshi has the best full crouch moves in the game. His FC4 is 18 frames, high crushing, tracking and counter hit launcher. For reference Jin’s D2 is 21 frames and his FC4 is 25 frames, which doesn’t launch on counter hit, Yoshi’s FC1 low is only 1 frame slower at 26 frames and it is unblockable, a normal hit launcher, and is an amazingly powerful oki tool to relaunch someone on oki. His acid spit move isn’t punishable on whiff and is also an amazing oki launcher. If Yoshi launches you he basically becomes Nina and Drag. And Yoshi has unblockable grab from his helicopter stance like Drag, and Yoshi’s helicopter stance crushes lows and mitigates damage from being airborne. Who’s bright idea was it to give damage mitigation to his main stance and best the game healing? There is so much wrong with Yoshi, it never seems to end with him, Nina and Drag I think could be fixed pretty easily, but Yoshi is broken top to bottom.
