This is a very positive initiative in making a discussion about AI. Nery expresses the goal of the panel discussion, which is to dispel the fears that AI will take over our jobs and, eventually, the world. But turns out much of what they said (perhaps more than half) are more of concerns, issues, and problems produced or go along with the technology. Apparently, they're simply brushing those symptoms of greater problems that a much more improved AI will cause. It's like ignoring the fossil fuel-burning engines that gradually cause climate change and environmental disasters because we benefit from using them. AI is very beneficial, so we should adapt and integrate it into our work. Besides, the risks will come in the far future. For me, that's a bit naive. AI existential risks will come in the near future, but observe how the AI companies (OpenAI, Google, Elon Musk's xAI) are having what is tantamount to the arms race of the superpowers. AI disaster might come sooner than we expect.
