【DIY】電動工具『トリマー』で四角い加工を安くて簡単 そしてあの加工までできる便利なトリマー専用 テンプレート治具の作り方と使い方

- DIYで仕上がりが面が揃ってる方がカッコいいから板を彫って蝶番や別の板など色々な使い方で埋める加工をやってみたい！
そんな時にこのようなトリマーで使うテンプレート治具があると非常に便利かと思い今回こちらの治具を制作しました
今回の特徴はメインの使い方となる四角い形状を簡単に彫り加工ができるのは勿論ですが
トリマー購入時に付属しているストレートガイドで届かない幅が広い板材などに自在に2種類のサイズの溝を彫ることができる 3つの加工ができる治具にしてみました

そしてこの様な治具はレールの部分をアルミ材で作ることも多いかと思いますが、アルミのTスロットレールはホームセンターではあまり販売されていないかと思いますし1本あたりの価格も少し高額となり、それを4本使うために1セット作るのにかなりの費用が掛かるかと思います なので今回はレール部分も自作で簡単にトリマーで加工することによって価格も安くで作れました
しかし木材で作っているためアルミと比較するとそれぞれメリット、デメリットあるので製作の際はお好きなレールを選定頂けたらと思います
木材レールの
メリット
・価格が安い
・購入し易い（ホームセンター 木材店など）
・加工が簡単（切断など）
デメリット
・反りにくい木材を選ぶ
・レール内の金具の移動がアルミに比べるとスムーズにならない
そして今回の動画のポイントと注意点として
・トリマーを使ってTスロットビットの加工をする前はトリマーやTスロットビットの負担を軽減するために必ずストレートビットなどで先に溝を加工しましょう
・溝の位置ずれを防ぐためにトリマーでストレートビットで溝をした後にTスロットビットへ加工を移行する際は木材のどちらにストレートガイドが判るようにしてストレートガイドの出幅は絶対に変更せずに、どちらも同じ面にストレートガイドを当てる加工をしましょう
・テンプレート治具を使う際は強固に固定できるようにトリマー移動中、邪魔にならない箇所にクランプなどで固定しましょう その際にもし対象材が小さいなどで固定が困難な場合はクランプ固定箇所のMDF材の下に別で対象材と同じ厚みのを挟んで上下などのズレがでないように強固に固定しましょう
・治具を使用して加工をする際にはトリマーベースはMDF板の上に乗っていますのでストレートビットの出幅は彫りたい深さとMDF材の厚みを足して調整しましょう
・動画内のブラックとホワイトの板を埋めたような加工を行う際は部材の跳ね返りや過度な欠損を防ぐため必ず先に埋めた材を接着剤などで固定して強固に固定できたことを確認して次のトリマー作業を行ってください

Of course, the feature of this time is that you can easily carve a square shape, which is the main usage.
I tried to make a jig that can perform three processing that can freely carve grooves of two sizes on a wide plate material that can not be reached with the straight guide that comes with the trimmer purchase.

And I think that such jigs are often made of aluminum material for the rail part, but I think that aluminum T slot rails are not sold very much at home centers, and the price per one is a little high, so I think that it will cost a lot to make one set to use four of them, so this time I made the rail part by myself and easily processed it with a trimmer so that the price was cheap.
However, since it is made of wood, there are advantages and disadvantages compared to aluminum, so I think that you can select your favorite rail when manufacturing.

・ Easy to purchase (home improvement stores, timber stores, etc.)
・ Easy to process (cutting, etc.)
Demerit
・ Choose wood that does not warp easily
・ The movement of metal fittings in the rail is not smooth compared to aluminum.
And as a point and precautions of this video
・ Before processing the T-slot bit using the trimmer, be sure to process the groove first with a straight bit to reduce the load on the trimmer and T-slot bit.
・ When shifting to T-slot bit after grooving with a straight bit with a trimmer to prevent misalignment of the groove, make sure that the straight guide can be seen on either side of the wood and never change the protruding width of the straight guide. , Let's process the straight guide on the same surface for both.
・ When using the template jig, fix it with a clamp etc. while moving the trimmer so that it can be firmly fixed. At that time, if the target material is small and it is difficult to fix it, MDF of the clamp fixing point Clamp another material with the same thickness as the target material under the material and fix it firmly so that there is no deviation such as up and down.
・ When processing with a jig, the trimmer base is on the MDF plate, so adjust the protrusion width of the straight bit by adding the depth you want to carve and the thickness of the MDF material.
・ When processing such as filling the black and white boards in the video, it was possible to firmly fix the material that was buried first with an adhesive etc. in order to prevent the members from bouncing back and excessive damage. Please check and do the next trimmer work

四ツ角のチョウナットが付いている長ネジは、もう少し短い方(20mm位でも)が良い感じがしました。
ただ、アイテムは良かったですよ

確かに長ネジのサイズはも少し短くしようか迷いましたが、短いネジを入れてみたら木材への通りが悪くなり長めのネジを使っていました
もし短めのネジを使う際はレール内にワックスなどで滑りを良くすると円滑に行くかもしれませんが内側は拭き取りが困難なのでやっぱり長ネジの方が良いかな？と思います
長めでほんの少し面倒な作業ではありますけど蝶ナットがくるくる回転していくのも楽しんでます
