I wanna say the iconic Break My Stride which is notable for sounding alot like Thomas music is specifically similar in instrumentation to thomas's truck pulling theme from season 1
Ok, two Thomas pieces of music you should listen to: -The Danger Theme from Season 2 and; -Oliver's Theme. Then listen to these two bits of music: -The Collector's Theme from The Owl House and; -The opening music to The Great Escape by Elmer Bernstein.
Here's one I personally noticed a long time ago, the season 1 flying kipper theme, and OMD's Maid of Orleans. The 2 songs were made only a few years apart (OMD's coming first iirc) so it's possible there was some inspiration happening, like how Daisy's theme is based specifically on a real jazz song.
As a Queen and Thomas fan, I had to check the Crazy little thing called love part and oh my god the little part where the piano, guitar, and drum play a note 7x I was like “that’s 98% the same thing”.
With A Little Luck applies to the keyboard solo at 4:03 in the song, not the whole thing. The solo is straight up the first few seconds of the thomas theme.
There's a part in With A Little Luck that sounds way too close to the TTTE opening theme, but I was kinda dissappointed that you didn't put that exact part here.
I love the song 'With A Little Luck!' I only found an extended version of it last year. In it, there's an instrumental bit that definitely sounds like the Thomas theme. In fact, someone did a Thomas-fied version of the song. I only wish it sounded more like seasons 1-2.
I've noticed the music from the plane scenes from Calling All Engines sounds like a mix of John Williams' Superman theme and Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings theme.
I like SA Music's TTTE styled instrumental of Stand By Me in the style of Diesel's theme; it shows how similar they really are. Also like his cover of "Downtown" in the style of the Viaduct theme.
Do part 3 of this. I heard that Gordon's Theme sounds like Cikini Gondangdia by Duo Anggrek, where I can definitely hear the similarities of both songs.
Donald and Douglas's season 2 theme sounds like the Staff Roll from Mario 64. And Spencer's theme kind of sounds like Lumiose City from Pokemon X and Y.
There are some other music that sounds like Thomas music Oliver's theme is based on the great escape theme Duck's theme has similarities to the Irish comedy Father Ted theme BoCo's theme sounds similar to a super heros intro The Skarloey railway theme sounds like the Talyllyn railway's the railway with a heart of gold
If you ever do a part 3 of this I reccomend tossing in Streamlining from the Great Race and Greased Lightning from Grease Also I personally think Daisy’s season 2 theme sounds like Cruella de Vil’s song from 101 Dalmations, even my mom agrees
There’s this East German song from the 80s that sounds like the Determination song from the hit era, th-cam.com/video/hdGnwpSecP0/w-d-xo.html&si=2OkJWfvwmSgVVB66. At 1:17 from the East German song and 0:18 in the Determination song, they are very similar.

@@KMFE469 Well as it turns out I made a mistake there, I listened to a short version of the song instead of the full one. If you go to about 4 minutes in of the full version that’s the part that sounds like the Thomas theme :)
Diesels theme is also basically the opening riff to the song Iowa bu slipknot in reverse 😭
I remember one of my teachers played the song “Stand by Me” and I was like “Wait, that’s diesel’s theme”
And their face features look alike lol
The Synthesized steam train sounds from the first few seasons really reminds me of the rhythm sound for Kraftwerk’s “Trans Europe Express”
The theme from Tugs sound very similar to a song called Do You Have To Fall In Love, by one of Thomas and Tugs's composer Junior Campbell.
He reused
I wanna say the iconic Break My Stride which is notable for sounding alot like Thomas music is specifically similar in instrumentation to thomas's truck pulling theme from season 1
Break My Stride likely used the Roland Jupiter 6 synthesizer (the same one used in the Thomas soundtrack)
In “With a Little Luck” it’s really the instrumental bridge in the middle that seems to perfectly quote the opening notes of the Thomas theme
2:29 this actually sounds exactly like the sir hat song

S.A. Music actually made a mashup with desiel’s theme and stand by me called delightful desiel

Also Salty's theme sounds similar to who's afraid of the big bad wolf by Henry hall in 1933
I always thought that the song "Sir Duke" sounds like the Thomas Theme.
The first 6 notes of salty’s theme sound like the first few seconds of ‘The girl I left behind me’
QUACK QUACK+Steam engine =Montague aka Duck
there is this one song in the fallout 3 called fox boogie and at one minute and five seconds it has the james riff
Adding on to duck, Dmitri Shostakovich’s Waltz No.2 has an opening that sounds similar to duck’s theme

Daisy's theme & Cruella De Ville
Fitting as Daisy is a BR Class 101!
spencer's season 7 theme and coronation scot sound similar to each other
I think that Japanese anime waltz has a Strauss sound!
The chorus to the song “The Air That I Breathe” by the Hollies sounds pretty similar to Emily’s Hit Era Theme.
I always think Olivers theme and the Tugs Theme aound similar at the start.
there is a part in a christian song by Greater Vision called Just Wait Til He Stands Up that sounds a lot like the episode end theme

What about Harold’s theme sounding like The Dam Busters?
For part 3, will you include the Runaway theme against the Sailor Moon title theme? Same beat, same key, same feel.

you should really compare the thomas and the trucks theme and a jazzy-ish song called sing sing sing (with a swing) by john williams
3:17 I don’t see the similarities. I don’t know if my ears are not working or what.
In all seriousness, neither could I. But there is a part of that song in the instrumental break that sounds more like the Thomas theme
