The owner's name is Dave Hooten and he forgot to mention he used a '60 Ford Ranch Wagon body and added Edsel body side moldings, front clip, tail gate trim and interior parts. Everything is bolt-on. The only hitch is the true Edsel Villager is a 4-door. Edsel's only 2-door wagon was the 1958 and it was called the Roundup. Hope this helps.

These are fun to look at and a pretty nice drive. The one I owned was Cloud Silver with black/silver interior. The interior was original, but the exterior had been repainted. It had a 292 V8 w/automatic.
They didn't make a 2 door Edsel wagon in 1960. It's been converted from a Ford. They made only 4 door Edsel wagons in 1960: 216 6 passenger; 59 9 passenger ( 9 passenger meaning a 3rd rear seat )
@@michaelwhite2823 He didn't get ripped off, he made it himself out of a Ford Ranch Wagon. Even altered the VIN to lend it authenticity. The car is well known in Edsel circles.
@allthingsclassic5484 I belonged to the Edsel Owner's Club, and International Edsel Club from 1989 until about 1998. I'm fully 100% sure Edsel never made a 2-door wagon for 1960. That said, converting a 1960 Ford 2-door wagon to an Edsel Wagon is probably a lot more work than it appears, not to mention a regrettable mis-purposing of otherwise good parts meant for an actual factory model. So I'm not saying let's regard the owner as trying to deceive anyone.....maybe he wishes Edsel had made one, and simply followed his dream car. I have an 1958 Edsel Ranchero - It's actually easy to convert an 1957 or 1958 Ford Ranchero to an Edsel that they never made. But I tell any admirers right away It's a custom, never factory made. The Edsel is a fascinating brand to research!! Have a great Summer!!

Edsel wagon would have a 120 inch wheel base. 60 Ford wagon would be 119 inch wheel base. Id love to see this car in person!!

60 Edsel wagons are rare. 2 door 60 Edsel wagons are beyond rare.
They're also fake. Edsel didn't have a 2 door wagon in 1960.
