Manage a team of professional cyclists: control the budget, recruit young talent, train riders and devise race strategies. Jostle for position to reach the top of the world rankings!
As a only team career player I'm a bit sceptical after seeing this. It looks like they have done some good changes to the Pro cyclist mode, but not a whole lot to the team aspect of the game. I will however say that the new ranking system should make it easier to make some good changes in the future. Like with World Championship participation based on rankings instead of static like it has been. As well as going back to a promotion relegation system based on rankings if it is better balanced than the previous super prestige. Otherwise I'll guess I'll see what the AI have to offer as it looks to be the deciding factor for me buying this years game or not. What I mainly want to see is that the AI actually treat your riders as they are there when on effort during turns (not cuting in right infront of you/move the whole field in between your riders because you happen to be on the inside of the turn. You usualy try to hold one side of the road so should the AI, even if it makes it look a bit less realistic), and that positioning of the AI in the field is changed based on race day condition (for someone who have tried a lot of races with everything on auto. It's really anoying when my on the day 80 mou 81 hill with base 74 mou and 75 hill can't for the life of him be among the first 70 riders into a climb because he's not fighting for position, probably because his base stats are to pour. This is especially bad if the first finnish climb in a stage race is between 2,5 to 5 km long, making it imposible to advance enough places to be high enough in GC to get a better position next time. I bet this happens to smaller AI controlled teams as well).
Question: I was hoping that in PCM 2023 the World Championships registration of countries was going to depend on the country rankings when I read the announcement. But seeing this that update is just to make sure that the world championship will be in the same country? That is rather dissapointing... I still want to see a truely dynamic game in which I can take a non cycling country to the top of the world including in world championship.
Did they fix the bug in archives where winning a grand tour counts twice? For example winning the tour 3 times and it says 6 time winner and record holder.
Poor updates for carreer mode.. again. Did they add new comment names? The potential of this game is huge, but the lack of budget is a big problem. This is PCM17 v6
One thing is, they have never seemed to do much with audio/sounds, the annoying drama naration shouting in race commentary the same for years - surely some audio & narration stuff would not be hard to improve on? But otherwise some nice updates, but we see how much when out.
Not excited about these changes. The rankings are already pointless unless you play below-avg teams. Country rankings don't even impact the Worlds. I also doubt this new stat will change realism. They should've focused on AI improvements as that is dreadful at times. Great video though.
I still lack a stat for something like a road Captain based on experience and perhaps leader skills. Someone who direct the team on the road and in the peloton as in real life. Maybe a rating for lead-off skills, like Michael Mörköv as top perhaps. So you can set specific final lead-out man in a train, not fiddle around with everything yourself. After all it's a MANAGER game. Pro Cycling mode. Baah. Arcade fantasy shit.
Really glad they are touching up pro cyclist. Thanks for the video!
looks promising, think those new changes will improve the game and I'm excited to try out this revamped Pro Cyclist mode
I'm so excited for the new features esp the dynamic objective and the training preparation.

Excellent instructions, as always, thank you!

Excited for the next video!
Looking forward to the new series starting when the new game is out
Hmm, maybe im stupid, but I just got the game, and how do you get to drag the weekly focuses down? I cant do that...
In the planner you can drag them down.
@@DecathlonGamer Yea, as I told I might be stupid and.... I was. I had to go to the next week, did not get to change the 1st week for some reason
They should add positioning stat and online career
Unfortunate that women cycling wasn't included this year either, other than that, some cool changes

Benji can you do a Swiss puncher/ climber pro cyclist next year?
Wrong Channel Mate😆
Ups lol
I like how you made a 15 minute video about 2 very minor changes

The problem in the game is the AI.
So nothing has changed, alright.
