    Hey, question:
I will be doing a hike, and plan on doing a time lapse at the peak. What settings should I use for a 30min time lapse.
Was also wondering which POV's were better for doing video clips while hiking?
    Head, chest, overhead, etc...
    Thank you!

    Hi MicBergsma!
I'm really enjoying your videos and they help me a lot!
I have one question about the new timelapse video mode on the hero 4 black, which came out with the april's firmware update.
Why use the timelapse photo mode anymore? I rather use the much easier timelapse video mode, but whats the down side of that? There has to be a reason there are the two modes...?
    Thanks a lot!

G'day Mic, I've been doing sunrise timelapses here in Bali. When I'm editing, can i keep the first light part in normal timelapse speed, but speed up the later part of the sunrise, after the sun has risen a bit? Or, do I have to split the video into 2 parts, speed up the second part, then rejoin them? Thanks man, I really enjoy your tutorials! P.S. I'm using GoPro Studio.

Please help! I'm having an issue with a time lapse. I've made them in the past and have never come across this problem until recently. The most recent video on my channel shows the problem, but basically when I import the photos, instead of creating one time lapse video, it makes a separate "video" for EACH PHOTO, making it impossible to convert. (There's 1'000 photos... No way I have that kind of time.)
I can't find anything online about this... It feels like I'm the only one 😪

Mic, just a question, I tried importing the time lapse images, but when i clicked on the first image and clicked open, Gopro studio only imported that file instead of automatically creating a time lapse video like the above. Any idea whats going on?

    • @kptan81

Ok.... I actually solved my own problem.... :) what i did was i actually changed the file name sequence to match yours which is G00280 - G00300. my original image name is 280-300. I didnt know that the file name will have affected the importing and conversion of images to time lapse video.
