One thing that works soooo well After the project is complete, during clean up time, Take a Photo of the child's creation, print it off and hand it in a display in the school hall! This way you can reuse supplies without storage problems! Students Love looking at themselves and their project! Sometimes you need to stand on a chair and photo down to get entire table!
The video itself is nice. It shows ways of integrating playful creative ways of thinking (also not too expensive, which is important) into Kindergarden and Schools. Creative play is very important for children and their development. It just doesn`t represent STEAM. STEAM is about Project based, Problem-oriented learning and a lot more which has nothing to do with what teacher Lauren shows us. Therefore I would just label it different because it is difficult to explain STEAM to people or defend it in a discussion if people think THIS is what STEAM stands for.
