Hey there!
Aahhhh this video took me such a long time to edit! ( but also life has been quite hectic for me lately;; ) Anyway, I am so glad to finally upload this! -and yes these past few months I have gotten quite an interest in streaming in general and I thought I would give it a try. I am not by any means a "pro-gamer" or anything but, I do love cozy gaming. I also figured this might encourage me to focus back on my art as well. I am still very nervous about it but I set a goal for myself to at least try it for 1 whole year! Also I am not really much of a talker if that isn't obvious (haha) Of course, its very hard in the beginning but I do enjoy the process of trying to figure things out. ^^ Also the laptop has been doing a pretty good job so far compared to my 5yr old HP ( -minus a few hiccups heh ). If anyone has any helpful advice ( especially audio lolz ) I would be very grateful. I am currently streaming on Twitch but, I would also like to hopefully try doing TH-cam streams as well in the future.
Also one last thing! I did recently move house so maybe look forward to a new manga shelf tour ~?

You got rtx 3050 and i7 11th gen, you'll definitely be able to play games in high quality very easily. Is it a h or u series processor?? If it's h series with 16 gb ram then its powerful and you'll be able to do almost everything with this laptop, video editing, high level gaming, you'll only need a drawing tablet for graphic designing
right, she should also get a graphic tablet but its kinda expensive

I currently use it to stream and so far I haven't had any issues with the laptop itself. Although I will say I am not a fan of the audio setup. The Dell audio uses MaxxAudioPro... but I preferred using defaulting to Realtek Audio as I find it less confusing to switch when connecting to my stream
The only thing i don't like in XPS is the lack of ports :(

Well... As a former 3050 user myself I sold that and bought it for a 3060 a much better deal. Since 3050 sometimes barely does the cut. Sometimes you see fps streaming with 3050 is somewhat stupid it makes the video's fps fluctuate and I never understood that so going to 3060 made it consistent for a laptop gpu atleast its a 40 to 60 fps video. At highest settings.
no offense but the xps is supposed to have a almost borderless screen so your screen size is reduced now also the keyboard cover and tape I blocking the backlight keyboard no offense to anyone but I know alot about tech I hope this can help
It's almost been a year and its been working pretty good for me. Not much of the screen sized has changed tbh since I literally only covered the very thin black border with removable washi tape. So its white now instead of black.. also the keyboard backlight is switched off as I barely use it..much like my old laptop. Also I use a separate keyboard anyways and the silicone keyboard cover is just to protect from dust..which is removable.
I mean I was kind of suspicious from the moment it was DELL😂😂😂 but good video!
Haha I probably should've stuck to a different brand if I'm being honest but I had it for almost a year and it's doing its job so I can't really complain all too much ^^;
@@ivypanduh Nah, no worries about the brand if it works well I have mine customized. Like I added 2 tb storage mine is a localized brand so I doubt that you actually know it. I do use my laptop, for streaming, for drawing and blender(but I'm still learning never getting through the part 11 of guru's tutorial XD)
@@ivypanduh I also might try your style of png vtubing might be a bit better than what I have actually did to my streams
@Kacchan VotleNick that's good you a way to mod your computer. Everyone has their own type of setup for sure. And yeah I def recommend using a png as a starting point for vtubing

Hmmm. I think based on my experience I think I prefer my old hp. (I am basing it on my experience using it both laptops. But take that with a grain of salt)

Listen, lovely laptop, yes but you could’ve gotten a whole desktop computer for the price of that laptop.
you are probably right but for my currently living situation a laptop was best. Maybe someday i will have a proper desktop?
