- Hi, in this introduction video I launch from the beautiful Perranauthnoe beach and show you the local facilities, parking and the trip to the beach from the car park. There are some good looking bits of reef a short paddle from an easy launching spot in the right conditions. #fishingcornwall #kayakfishingcornwall #cornwall #perranuthnoe #seafishinguk #ukbssslurefishing #lurefishinguk #hobiecompassuk #kayakfishinguk
Nice mate
Great video mate, very informative. Definitely another option for next time I'm down 😎👌 Rog.
Thanks Roger, I think on a flooding tide it has good bass potential. There are plenty of big rocks which look like obvious places to look for them.
@kayak_fishing_Cornwall I can't remember who did the video but someone else was fishing around loads of jellyfish and didn't get anything, as soon as they found a clear spot the fish came on. They obviously don't like them.
@Dorsetrovercouk Yeah that was fish locker a couple of weeks ago. I was getting their bloody tentacles all tangled rlund my lures. You may have a point there.

Still nice to get out on the water ? , got down the West Country last weekend, 3 good bass amongst the windy weather in portmellon bay off the rocks all on the tackle house feed shallow ( mullet ) this lure never lets me down even with one eye missing on the lure, had to work the lure till the bass came on the feed , couple of hrs before high tide , great sport and put all three back , look forward to your next trip out , cheers and all the best 👍
Well done on the bass, put in the effort and get the rewards i guess.
Great info mate…
What’s the weather usually like March time, I know to far ahead to know just thinking previous years?
Looking at bringin mine down we’re in coverack again….if you have any videos from that time of year I can have a nose at mate….
@carpman1977 thank you. In recent years weve had some decent spells of weather early in the year, you might get lucky. My fist video from coverack and the first from porthoustock were around that time of year.
Yeah we have been down there and normally had decent weeks but didn’t have the kayak the. So wasn’t paying as much attention haha
