We have 70 Axion 240 for the Heston 90 deeps and cultivations so we have 2 Ares and 2 t7. 175 New Holland and we are set for good year! Got crops in early to miss the rain so may be cutting early this year! Had look at Fastraks and as you know Alot had been fraped tofuck and there were some o ipus signs that they may break soon. Had Fastraks and now grown up to realise practicality and new equipment is way to go. Im not killing myself doing somthing to save few £ fu k that
The only thing I would say is that extra 2000 hrs on the Class is putting right up there where alot of CVT transmissions can need an overhaul. That could soak up 15k of the price difference, admittedly it has the extra HP going for it but allow the other 15k for the higher hrs on the engine and it doesn't seem that much better of a deal. As for comfort you just have to make a choice and live with it I suppose, cab and seat supension have come a long way in the last few years but theres nothing else out there that will be quite as comfortable as a fastrac imo.
The old ones had JD engines and massey back end but the latest versions have FPT engines in most of the range. The JD/Massey combo was the carry over from the Renault tractor days ( building tractors since 1918) and they're still built in the same factory near Le mans since bought by Class in 2003. Much of the cab technology came from combines and Xerion tractors. Using different engines is a big change

Big thing is support, I remember last year? you had two JCBs down, one with a broken injector and the nearest replacement was in Germany and the other with a gearbox which took months to fix. No point getting something if a broken part stops it for a few days.
Been waiting all day for this, stick the weaving on the back see if she can pull it or the 7 furrow that a work her out or even the power harrow 6m, better keep the beast another year if your going to buy a tractor, get dad in it he be the judge if its comfortable or not.
Great looking Tractor and we stand by our Claas machines but would consider having Fastrak would be a 7270. It's not Tractor made to compete with Fastrak its more competition against New Holland!
I am starting to get to like the claas tractors, they seem to have a high basic spec. Only thing I'd be worried about going away from the fazzy is I can see the law coming down on over 40k tractors soon (I think they already had an operation pulling them?!)
Love the intro and its cool the class and are john deere 1340 mower was mowing and the pto sheared same yesterday and we had someone come to see what we could do with the grass cus we dont have a baler cus we are a small holding and we only picked the mowet up monday so yeah anyway hows ur day been good mate or not buddy any way good vid
jasonfastrac we run jcb fastrac and new Holland the fastrac is very smooth but always having problems our latest one (a new one last year) has just come back after being away for most of harvest because of pto problems.
plastic bits in the cab does not mean anything, build quality, performance and reliability at the right price point is what matters. tractor heritage does not mean much any more, take jcb for instance, they have changed their engines and major gearbox changes with a new hydraulic delivery system. what relevance does an old jcb have with a new one? heritage is just a marketing tool, jcb got sold years ago to the eyeties so heritage is not the same nor is the service since the sellout as well.

You know the Fastrak is gonna be no completion and it will perform better its just to stick a finger up at us Claas operators.
