I highly suggest you should start reading from volume 1 because the anime skipped and changed way too much important events and details you will be confused, you can read it by searching it in youtube "Classroom of the Elite all light novels - download" the channel is called ANIME ANYWAY he has link for all the volumes in the description in his video.

I love this show and its complexities. This show is so precious to me. I just started to read manga and this is my first one. I still have the light novel to read too😅 I love this so much❤❤❤
There are two terms that must be complete for a couple with ayanokouji. 1 - The character can show him love. 2 - Ayanokouji can show his dark side. And there are only 2 ships that can complete those terms (Maybe more if he is fine with males). Kiyonami (Kiyotaka x Ichinose) and Kiyokei (Kei and Ayanokouji). And I'm for Kiyokei. By looking at some ships with him, i think that someone just dont understand Ayanokouji. Ayanokouji needs a soft, understandble, and that will love him character. And him being ended up with Kiryuin or Horikita or Sakayanagi or Ichica are just will just not fit hi's character. He should end with someone soft, like Ichinose, Hiyori, Airi and of course Kei. But there is the second term, he can show her his evil side. And do you really think that someone like Hiyori or Airi will be alright with his evil side ?
nah Ayanokoji is only using kei cuz she's popular with the girls which means Ayanokoji has control over the girls in the classroom which can easily derive any situation, Very loyal and good tool. Later ayano will get kei expelled or dump her.
I personally think Horikita would be a better choice for Ayanakoji. She may be hard on outside but she is a softie. He is the one who broke down Horikita. Personally I think Girls always shows their broken side(vulnerability) to the one who broke it(something I pick up from Bdsm) even though they build a better character or personality after it. It's like showing loyalty to their 1st master I guess. more stubborn they become more interesting the breaking will be. Even slave is no fun if they have no personality like Kei🤷
